wow we are so near to each other! haha only 2 blocks away from mine

Wall light for stairway, wall light for balcony, ice cubes for 3 toilets, LED downlights for whole house and 2 round hanging lights for island!

Once again, the following items were almost 90% chosen by my ID. We are not lazy ok, just distracted by our kids Basins for Kitchen toilet, Master toilet and common toilet in that order. Island sink and tap ( same tap as my ID's! although mine is matt ) Sink and tap for wet kitchen Cheapest one piece wc for all 3 toilets and my Master shower panel!

Something interesting to me but frustrating to my ID. haha. The ex-owners had bamboo blinds installed at the balcony and had to be dismantled. None of the ah nehs dare to climb up the tallest ladder to unscrew it! So no choice, she had to erect scaffolds just to dismantle the stupid blinds. Poor thing.. She told me the ah nehs said: Boss, so high ah, i die u die.

All my bathroom accessories and lights were sent on monday and they are being installed as of now! See my ID so caring, still put First Aid bag there. haha! Counting back, my reno started only 25days ago. As of today, almost 80% done! What's left are only carpentry and granite which will be up next week. Haha... I think I am pushing my ID to her limit. Cos I told her die die I want to move in before xmas. Dusty never mind, as long as all 3 bedrooms done first I told her. Tomorrow Shalom will be delivering my 70 boxes of barang barang to be placed in the house first. Cos I didnt want to spent so much on storage. One month almost 1k! so siong.

We told ID that we want green and blue for the children's room and these are the colours she picked. As you all should guess it, Green= Girl and Blue=Boy! They look so refreshing so happy. Silvermink will be for my Master bedroom and Latte will be for the Living area.

Red toilet is done! Really love the redness Pipes will be painted glossy black.

Thanks Slyphy, yup going for an open concept yet retain a small closed off kitchen. Potatoes- yup we really cannot wait to see the finished product as well. My husband sneaked over to see the place just now, they are building scaffolds just to remove the bamboo blinds at the balcony. All my bathroom accessories and lights are also there! So fast! Piknik- u are not blur! We really got 2 kitchens! One wet n one dry, like Slyphy Shall upload more pics tonight, cannot do it in office.

Alot were being done. Tiling is almost completed. yea! I am waiting for the next batch of photos from her. I can't wait to see the red toilet!

As me and my husband work both day and night shifts(kids...) we have no time to go and monitor the site. The photos were all provided by my ID. I really felt happy to have found her although she is quite new in this line. I found her through Home&Decor magazine and Squarerooms magazine on the October issue cover and later found her on RT as well! I guess most of you would have guessed who she is. It took me many weeks to finish reading her blogs! really pengsan.. Up till now, we are really very pleased with her services and she is always very accommodating with our late meetings and discussions. She is full of ideas but we also reminded her to keep to our budget. If its out of our budget, she will try to get it for us and of cos, along the way we did get some freebies also! We are still trying to squeeze her for more. Who wouldnt right?

Hacking started on 21stNov. I finally know how all of u renotalkers felt when u all said shiok! really shiok to see all the old tiles gone, haha!!

Hi potatoes! Thanks for dropping by. Yes, she did pass us bags of tiles, books of laminates to look at. But instead, we told her not to bring so many! Me and my husband are not the very choosy types so we told her to bring 2samples of every kind so we can just choose A or B. ha! we are that simple, and lazy

Tiles were selected mostly by our lovely ID. As we have 2small kids, our energies are all channelled to running after them rather than choosing ha! We simply cannot bring them along to every tile shops, accessories shops even though we wished we could. Those of you who have kids will definitely understand what I am talking about I guess we are very easy clients, as we leave the majority of decisions making to her. If we are not able to go to the shops, she will take pictures and email us for us to choose.

These were the layouts suggested to us but being on the conservative side, decided not to go with the 1st but the 2nd layout. LOVE the openness of the 1st but no choice, we do heavy cooking at times and being malays, just imagine all the rendang fumes! We told our ID that we just want a simple house with Black, White, Grey and maybe just a small dash of colour. Nothing too fanciful but we want impact for the Master Bedroom Gosh, I cant wait for the huge island to be up. Its like a dream still!

Some pictures of the house before renovation. The place had been vacant for almost a year hence it looked so rundown especially the Master Bedroom floor tiles, all popping. The sellers migrated about a year ago and left the place to slowly deteriorate Initially thought we can negotiate the price down but agent die die said cannot We went to see a few EMs in the east but they were all grabbed up like hotcakes! And so when we found this one, we told each other, must BUY first! Haha...

Hi everybody! I have been a silent reader of RT and decided to start my own tblog finally. My reno started on 21st November and we are moving in before Xmas! So excited Here's my current floorplan:
