  1. Have an idea to install LED strips lights along the top edge of the glass cabinet backsplash. However may have problem with cleaning and heat especially just above the stove. So thought of doing it behind the glass. As the carpenter usually install a piece of plywood between the wall and the glass, I thought maybe can request that they cut the wood about 1cm shorter to accomodate the LED strip right at the top edge. Anyone has experience or tried to do this? Any thoughts appreciated.
  2. This is a really relevant topic for what I'm trying to do, and I need some expertise help. I'm planning to run 2 length of 10m LED stips for my living room cove lights. 1 will be for cool white controlled by 1 switch and another for warm white with 2nd switch. However I see most vendors are selling 5m each roll on ebay. I need 10m continuous strips but bend 90 degrees. Can bros who have done this advise whats the best way to join them up? Also I cannot determine the rating of the transformers to get. I understand I need to get a separate transformer for each length. Can someone share what should I get? This is the ebay link for the LED I'm planning to use. This one says 1.2A per meter, so should I get 12A transformer to support 10m? Basically this is what I plan to do: 10m warm white 5050SMD 300LED, 1 switch, 1 transformer (rating?) 10m cool white 5050SMD 300LED, 1 switch, 1 transformer (rating?)
