Haha.. You are right lah.. I always have this communication problem when in written or verbal.. I am just very poor on these loh.. Paiseh.. Still... but if these two cannot be hacked, all my effort will be down the drain and i will need to think of alternative ways within these two days loh.

Tough to explain but if you refers to my flr plan in Page 1, my actual plan is the hacked away 3 walls of store room and relocate the store room to the area in between Bedroom 2 n 3. These are the walls which are on hold now.

As of now, they are hacking the existing kitchen and toilets loh.. So now just got to wait for HDB approval for the remaining walls..

I passed my contarctor one set of keys and i Think my contractor damaged the lock on last fri when he took over the key from me as fri afternoon i went back and already found out that the lock cannot be opened with my set of keys. Was still thinking that maybe only his set can open and not mine loh.. Anyway, i intend to change the lock after reno is completed. Pre casted wall = walls that are pre fabricated before sending to site.. Just like LEGO toys.. So i believes these walls will have metal bars in them in ordered to strength the whole structure.. Normal hacking approved on last fri but HDB issued another letter after that saying that store room walls and inbetween BR 2 and 3 wall are pending for HDB higher authority's approval. What will be my chances of getting a green light from them??

Reno started today but the first thing to welcome me is.. The wooden door lock is spoilt and my contractors cant go into the hse What a good start but after 10mins, my contractor just break the lock and went in finally.. Then.. at 12.30pm when i arrived on site, another shocking news for me !!! HDB approved from all normal hacking except for my store room (located at kitchen entrance) and the wall in betwwen Bedroom 2 n 3 (to convert into a store room). Reason is because my is the pre casted wall house so cant hack the walls !! It is now pending for HDB higher authority approval now.. OMG... If really cant hacked off any of the walls mentioned, there goes my entire plans and wasted these few months of planning done.

To Ayazumi and Renotm, I just wana have a good start so just rowed in pineapple. Official reno will starts on this Wed!!

FINALLY !! Got my key yesterday after a almost near to 6 mths of waiting since i OTP 18th Nov 2011!! Suppose to start my reno today but contractor claimed that permit for hacking still not approved by HDB and tomorrow is a PH, therefore, they will start on Wed..

Hmm.. how should i explain.. Ok.. yes, the piping is the same as what you have attached but the exact way of boxing up the pipes are not exactly like what it is shown in the 3D drawing. My contractor brought me to one of his on going unit at Bishan which have the same layout as mine. What they had did was.. they boxed up all the pipe with cabinet and doors. The pipe from ceiling to floor - will have two portion. Upper part will have a opening door where bottom will be fixed. They claimed that even when there is any choking or water leakage will not be from this long pipe. The main problem will be from the curved part and this will be hide away with a swinging door cabinet too.

Haha.. Sharp eye sight!! You are right !! My contractor suggested that so he included this in his 3D design but i dun think i can accept this too. I will definitely go for single color tone floor tiles

I tried at Lam Chuan website but their samples in web are too small to see the real thing. I happened to see this wood grain design from someone's t blog here( sorry that i have forgotten who is he/she) but this is exactly what i wanted. Actually if u all visited expo home furnishing every time, there is a ID company called Orange C***s, over there they have displayed a set of kitchen cabinet with similar pattern. My ideal laminate but i cant just walk to them and to ask them is from which brand..
