Thank you for the info Yhliang. Went to a shop somewhere in Bedok industrial there last evening and they have a wide range of products too. Price wise i am sure not if ex or cheap but that guy seems very friendly and knowledgeable.

I went to bedok industrial area today and thinking of changing to a yale digital lock.. Model 3107. I know this is a old model but any good review of this if you know of anyone who is using it? I have this digital lock and one more type of manual lock in mind but i can only upload my pic tomorrow.

This is HDB standard while they built this block of mine. Please see after the bedroom 2 n 3 wall in being removed. Can you see that the wall is not exactly straight or rather 90 degree to the ceiling?

Relocated store room concrete walls also almost done.

Flushing of the embedded wall at dining and kitchen for better flow in view. Also, tiles have arrived and tiling work will commence by tomorrow.

False ceiling **** room is up on last friday late afternoon

Above pics were taken on last evening. Today lunch time i dropped by again and the entire false ceiling structure were already upzz ! ! Celing is lowered by 6inches lower and i almost touch the ceiling when raising my hand but too late to do anything for it.. Also, handed over the second payment cheque to contractor during our meet up.

Some updates after the store room walls are removed from the kitchen.

Ya loh.. They will continue the remaining hacking work from today till monday and will move on from there.. More updates will be provided soon...

You are right about the store room. The inner two walls can be hacked and the one outside at the living cannot. I am not hacking the wall in between bedroom 2 and master bedroom lah. What i meant was if i have the intention of doing that, i will be very disappointed too loh..

After weeks of dragging here and there with HDB on the hacking of all walls. It is finally settled today. If you refers to my floor plan in the beginning, i am able to relocate my store room to in between bedroom 2 and 3. (Hacked off the wall in between, open a new door at the shorter wall). To hack off the store room walls located in kitchen. The only sad news is that the store room wall(in between living and kitchen) cannot be hacked as my block is built fully by pre fab walls !!! I called up HDB and they even said that the wall between masterbed room and bed room 2 also cant be hacked due to the same reason!! Lesson learnt.. If you wish to change any layout or hack any walls in your house, do not just refer to the floor plan as pre fab walls will not be reflected in it. Best will be before you signed on the OTP, do check with HDB for more details in hacking of any existing walls in the house. Finally, i can continue with my reno from tomorrow onwards..

Some updates.. HDB finally approved on the new store room relocation but still pending on demolition of the exisiting store room at kitchen !! It been two weeks and i am still stucked at the hacking stage.. OMG

Changing of toilet window needs HDB approval(pardon me if i got the wrong info) especially for those with casement which you can push outwards. They are afraid that if higher floor throw down something and hitted the casement window (in outward position), the glass might breaks and endanger the people walking below. I believes is case to case basis but i am staying at mid floor.. chances of doing that is not very positive. Will consider again..
