A new set of kitchen top cabinet was installed yesterday and the result is........ This brand new set is even more sub standard as compared to the first set that i had rejected.. ! ! ! Sharing the below sub standard works of my 2nd set of brand new kitchen top cabinet and all comments are definitely welcome. Hi whitehousey, You have a nice kitchen !! I believes you should asked for some form of compensation if they never delivered what had been promised especially when they changed the initial design without checking with you. Also, this scenerio happened to me too for mine top and bottom kitchen cabinets. At the end, i told them to remove the bottom cabinet and to redo a new set for me to match the flow of my top cabinet.

Ya.. Sucks thing always happened in my reno and my coordinator agrees with me too when i asked her what happened to my house!!! Seems like nothing can be done up to normal std for almost every area. I am not asking for much just need a presentable and neat finishing tahts all. She told me that she also don't know why as she doesn't faces all these issues with all other units which she is currently handling now except mine!! Anyway, i have told them i do not wish to see any more repair work and just replaced it with a new set and not to use back the same group of carpenters. My request to the above was granted !!! Wahahaha.. Btw, my contractor havent chase me for the 3rd payment yet since they know that is their fault..

Haha.. I am a lover for textured feel stuffs even for my laminate flooring. I have chosen those with wood grains feel alike model too. Well, just too bad that i missed the textured version .. Got to live with the smooth matt....

Spotted the defect as shown in pic yesterday night after numerous rectification works being carried out week after week. So today, i changed my attitute completely and "washed" the contactor 200% strength from my normal temper and demanded they not to rectify anymore and just get a new set for replacement as i do not accept such sub std work. I smsed the manager yesterday night, followed by email to manager, coordinator and to company email address and that manager no "wind sound" till now and just simply get the poor coordinator to attend to me. Poor lady as she just joined the company less than a mth and kana my sub standard case. Picture above is just one small corner out of the whole ice berg. Before i signe dthe contarct with them, they keep telling me that they have their own workshop for all carpentry work but for my cabinets, they actually sub out to 3rd party as they cant handle so many projects on hand. I was like, maybe my reno budget is low thats why they chosen mine to be out sourced to a 3rd party!!! I intended to close one eye if it is done swee swee but look at the std... To be fair to myself, what i had paid for pfr is slightly above avg price as they assured me that their workmanship is good thats why have to charged me that amt. I went to their in progress reno house before i signed the agreement and their workmanship is really pretty decent but just look at mine (just for kitchen canbinets only and not talking about solid surface top yet which is another big problem).. Also, i havent not actually seen the real textured kind and not sure if it will looks good as what i had in mind.. So at the end.. I accepted loh

Hi Hi.. I think his is the darker shade while mine is the lighter version. Actually i had chosen the version with the texture feel but my contractor used the matt smooth version instead.. Looks will be the same but the feel which i wanted is totally different from what i am having now..

Thanks Casa. I had chosen the same texture and grain for all bedrooms except that is of darker color.

Hi, The brand is 3S which most people are not awared of (including me). I am using this as my contractor dun really have much choices for me to choose from.

Thanks Casa. Finally i settled for 3S and did some testing. Final results is acceptab;e i guess. I even tried leaving dark soya sauce overnight and the solid surface is not stained.

Today one of my solid surface top is upz but i noticed the chipped off. The worker claimed that this can be fixed..
