Hi ranger97s33, After a few of you asking me to reconsidering again.. I actually arranged an appt again and met up with her last night and had a two hours plus discussion till 12mid night.. Will wait for her quotation by next weekend.. Thank you for the explanation on your isues..

OK lah.. As i agreed before OTPed that i will allows the family to stay for another two mths and upon our completion date, they requested for till end of Apr (which is 8 days more) so i ok too loh(they are really a very nice family so i also chin chai abit). Of cos i will definitely charge them if they need to extend further.. As for Andrew, he knew that i was referred by you too loh..Wahahaha.. Even though my reno will starts earliest by end Apr, more or less i will need to final select the contractor / ID so that i can select my tiles, laminates, designs and etc in order to have a smooth journey during the reno period.. He told me that he will get back to me within the week so i guess i am consider patience enough to have waited for one more week before i sms him bah..

He promised that he will get back within the next week so i just waited patiently since i am not really in a hurry to start my reno. I finally decided to sms him after waiting till today at 3pm and he replied that he will call me back tomorrow. (praying hard) Intro by Renotm : I contacted the contractor and had arranged to meet up yesterday evening for some discussion but at about 4pm, she SMSed me that she got to attend to a very urgent case from an existing customer who needs her immediately so no choice, she got to give up the appt made with me. To me, she will only reply sms after an hour and more(most of the time). Think i super suay.. Btw, I have completed my second appt on 21st Feb 2012 but i dun feel anything special or happy yet! Maybe due to the fact that i allows the current family to stay there till 29th Apr 2012.. Still counting down and what i can do now is to read more renotalk blog and to find myself a contractor or ID to do my tiny little 4rm resale..

I have been reading renotalk daily since Nov 2011 till today but of cos I am not as hardworking as May_dream1 lah.. I have went through 3 quotes for the time being and maybe going for one more before awarding the contract. More or less i have 85% finalised with the design and layout so now, i just got to find the contractor who can fulfill my ideas with good quantity and of cos.. who can matches within my low budget. When you wana decide on your contractor? Hope i can make my decision by end of this month..(Good the luck to me )

Hi Renotm, I noticed this table too during my visits to expo somewhere last week. The boss is an old uncle (located at the extreme end of the exhibition hall). It is really a nice table, solid and modern in design(to me lah ). LIke you, i will be getting my keys on 21st Feb 2012 but i agreed to let the owner to stay for another two months(free) for their next house to be ready. I started looking around before i OTPed on 18th Nov 2011 and had already got myself lightings, painting, laminated flooring package, dining table set way before.. (very kiasu). Currently i am still sourcing for a realiable contractor too and have narrowed down to the final two contractors. Estimated time to 100% ownership the house will be around 20th Arp 2012! Mine is in the east. 4S model.

My Contractor is charging me one extra FT for the L shape kitchen cabinet corner which I already thought this is ridiculars. If wana box up the kitchen piping will be additional 3 FT. Fainted.

I am too a single getting my own house. 2nd appt on 21st Feb but i had agreed to let the current owner to stay for another 2 months before i will officially take over this house.
