Today I guess they stopped work at 6 pm sharp as they are now doing the false ceiling which involves a lot of drilling and thus noisy..... Went there are 8 pm and saw the living and dining area false ceiling is already up.

Yes, everything.... but even I myself was surprised how how literally they took the work, rewiring... it really mean all wires removed.... They even removed the SCV cables and rewire from the electrical riser. One good thing is, previous crappy SCV cable is now properly done.

This is because I have a lot to do... All rooms with down light and network port in all rooms. Also, this is before package discount. Anyway, definitely, if you were to engage independent electrician, it will be cheaper if you can manage. If I do not 1) do down light on all rooms I will save, 26 x 46 = 1196 2) Install internet ports on all rooms, 6 x 80 = 480 3) Change the circuit board, 360 (actually this one I didn't intend to install new, just relocate but they really dismantled everything when we agreed to do rewiring). So you can see, this 3 items itself is over 2000 already

Never actually seen the downstair neighbour. Door always shut but can see some lights from outside compound.... The side neighbours got see. One of them, the relative came from MY and kaypoh kaypoh came in to see the lighting works.

DBSS is still HDB flat no matter how they market it. So DBSS and Condo is different league. Even if you put this aside, what amenities does DBSS have? Pay premium for build-in reno? With that kinda premium, you can pay lesser with better reno. To me, DBSS is only worth looking if the location is good.

These kind of issue should be easy to rectify. Just hack away the affected tiles, use the remaining tiles and redo it....

It is gonna take a long time as the amount of carpentry for my house is a lot. They will draw pespective design on the spot until we all agree. Also, it has to be done on site and Now no lightings yet, impossible to do at night.... Orr soh soh, how?

Took half day today to wait for the Opennet guys to come to fix up the termination point at my living room. ID coincide today to do up the electrical points since I am around. By today, all the electrical point, network points and SCV points will be up! So, since the electrical guys, opennet guys and the cosntruction guys are all around at the same time, you can imagine how packed the place was! Progress so far - Service yard tilings done - Toilet tilings done - Kitchen tilings done - Door and creation of wall for the study room done - Electrical points, done by today Upcoming - Discussion of carpentry this monday. Need to take leave again, sigh.... - Early coming week, windows.

The place looks very 90s.... Just like my old place. The kitchen pattern is same.
