All HDB main doors must be fire-rated I think... I was contemplating to change too... Called up Yontat and another company which is wellknown in this forum but forgot the name. So far cheapest is also 1000. The will need to send to some gov body to certify 30 min fire proof for each door. Don't ask me how they certify it.... Takes 1 week to process upon ordering....

Yes, most annoying is, can see the gap between the 2 planks. My room's laminate is cengal color so, can't see the gap and it looks nice!

It was direct discussion with the carpenter.... Both agreed it should be boxed-up. Workmanship so far so good. Cabinet not 100% straight and aligned but close to it. Only from very close view can notice not very aligned. Hopefully it can be further rectified later....

Yea that one I selected the laminate one... So naturally, it's nice.... hahaha.... All rooms have it, except for MBR as the recess area in MBR is too shallow. Plan to put roller blind up to the top of the cabinet.

I do like light color too... It's jsut that I find this one too pale... There is a darker tone but still light color one but it is not continuous tone type. Patchy type like parquet, some piece lighter, some piece darker.

Went up at 9+ and the moment I opened the door, the odour of the glue smut my eyes so much that I couldn't open for like 30 seconds. They are laminating the room floors now. The drawer underneath the cooker is usually the casement drawer type, not the pull out type. Why? This is because underneath the cooker has piping and some depth needed for ventilation also. As such, you should spare another section for drawers. Yea, I do have another section for drawers too for my pots and pans. and plates. Those bigger pots will be put into the casement cabinets. Please refer to the drawings I did for the non-cooking washing cabinet area. For these additional drawers, I need to pay extra 120.

Painting is done but some parts will be repainted as I requested some part of the wall(as shown in previous pictures) will be plastered and one part of the MBR's wall has vertical gaps between 2 prefab slabs will be patched too. Floor lamination will be done from tomorrow and will take 2 days Kitchen will be up tomorrow too as well as the rest of the room's cabinet will be up on thursday.
