  1. Boon Keng is a better location. Maybe between Kallang and Boon Keng? Near to bugis and town area
  2. You need a big compass or a circle ruler to draw out the outline. How about using projector to flash the shape of the clock so you can do marking?
  3. IDs need to sell their ideas and concepts, always sharpening their knives. Some of the IDs "name" their customers as "Robert Toh".
  4. Look at this website: http://steamshowersauna.org/ Maybe you can opt for something like this
  5. I agree. Build a "wall" and place a glass. Full glass seems dangerous if slip in toilet, so half glass is safer.
  6. The design that you have proposed, I feel that the living room is too empty. Maybe you should shift your entertainment area to place beside the balcony. Even if outside can see your tv console/tv, outsiders also cannot see your sofa because you have a small "corridor" to block your seating area. You can also build a storeroom beside bedroom 2, so your entertainment area becomes a rectangular shape, rather than the current awkward shape.
  7. Why not try 3M home organizers? They advertise on TV for 3M bathroom accessories.
  8. And ID quotations are more "attractive" than contractors'.
  9. Why not buy new cushion covers? Is the fabric for the sofa removal for washing?
  10. Haha. I don't read newspapers. I went to Furniture Mall today, and saw the up to 70% sales, so I thought it was GSS coming soon... Hahaha... Anyway there was not much sales. It is almost the same price compared with the usual days.
  11. Looks good, but is it abit expensive?
  12. I bought something similar, but more comfortable than the king koil set. I don't like the king koil set because the pillows are too hard and low for back support. If you want to lean back to rest your head, you might feel uncomfortable too.
  13. I heard furniture mall is relocating in April
  14. Glad that everything goes well in the end. Awaiting for the pictures...
  15. Hahaha! Your T-blog is shared with many home owners, like myself.
  16. I'm not sure if he's collecting and give you the same price, because that was what he sold to my parents. If they take in the aircon or compressor, it may be what you sell to garang guni
  17. They resell the old aircon for $50, and the compressor for at least $500 to other home owners
  18. Provided your inverter aircon can last you 5 yrs, and maybe you may move out after 5 years and get a new aircon system again? I am getting an inverter system because I foresee if I have aircon, I will on everyday, every hour. Daikin should come first (but expensive), then either mitsubshi or panasonic, but panasonic cheaper than mitsubshi by 200-300 dollars. Toshiba forget about it. Heavy electric consumption.
  19. Hahahahaa..... Aircon can order from Taobao?
  20. I saw Hoe Kee genting lane has this readily made glass container, but the container is very big, don't think can fit in small toilets
  21. You can try. My friend's condo toilet has this concept, but they complained very difficult to turn around inside the glass container. The picture don't have the centre ugly big pipes. My toilet has centre two pipes - 1 air pipe, 1 water pipe
  22. Wow, nice. I supposed the living room balcony and MBR balcony is connected together?
  23. Before painting process (if you want to paint the trunking), after tiles/laminates are done, electrical done/concurrently? If don't want to paint the trunking, you can do it after everything is completed, provided no carpentry blocking the way the pipes should be run.
  24. Your toilet dimension is bigger. If I install swing door, the door will hit the toilet bowl. My shower area has to relocate to face the front/beside the toilet door, because toilet bowl location cannot be changed, so I can only reconfigure the water pipings.
  25. For the small toilets that we have, I don't think it can accommodate a swing glass door. It's not illegal to box up the pipes. The pro is toilet look nicer without the pipes. The con is if downstair neighbour complain leakage, or pipes leaking, you have to tear down the box up features. That's why many people chose not to box up the pipes, but painted in other colors to match the wall tiles.
