Thanks potatoes. Stress level is not reduced at all. See the electrical wires? This renovation progress I didn't mention anything about the electrical works. As long the electrical work is not completed, my stress and anger level maintain at peak. -
Oh oh oh! The loading of the manual pdf so slow. Then I saw the heater picture. Hahaha..

END OF DAY TWENTY-SEVEN As mentioned earlier, we requested the aircon uncle to leave a 3" gap from the window edge so that we can install roller blind/curtain nicely fit to the window width. No worries about the ugliness of the 3" gap because the curtain/roller blind can block the 3" gap. Here is the close up look: Uncle's back view. Look closely, there is a trunking side by side with the window ledge. As the board is 1"+ width, we cannot use two x 1" board to full flush the side aircon trunking. So uncle uses the trunking as the back support for the wooden board, so that the wooden board will full flush with the aircon trunking. Now we have an extension window ledge. Now I can put plant pot on the window ledge for decorative purposes. Aircon unit above door in study room The trunking is built downwards so that the water pressure can go down and straight to the MBR for drainage. The bottom trunking will be covered by our study tables. Aircon in arts room. This is the most luckiest room without any exposed trunking. -

Maybe the water proofing has dried, or maybe haven't put water proofing yet? Have you asked your contractor? -

We suggested to the aircon man if we can run the piping across the MBR beam like the one you have shown in the picture, but the uncle don't suggest this way. The two aircons in the study room and arts room are placed above the door. There must be a room that needs to run the trunking downwards so that there is enough pressure to flow out the water. That's why you see in study room, the trunking from above goes downwards, then straight bottom all the way, and drill a hole and link to MBR. There must be a pressure point to allow the water to flow through, otherwise, in long-term, the water may get stuck somewhere and leakage will surface. Uncle also don't suggest to place aircon near the window; long-term will spoil the aircon. I'm not very sure if it is less expensive to do re-lay piping and keep the old aircon unit. I didn't get Panasonic because initially we already decided to get Mitsubishi, and my father already told uncle to reserve Mitsubishi units for us (that time Mitsubishi was running out of stock), so we don't want to trouble anyone to change again. Plus Panasonic color is silver, don't really suit our theme, but Panasonic aircon units look nice too. We visited one of the bunglow sites that my father is doing now. The uncle installed Panasonic aircon units for the bunglow. Uncle said Panasonic is $2,100-$2,000. He got better discount for Mitsubishi. Add another $50 for Mitsubishi. Prices inclusive of 5-year warranty for compressor. The water-proofing pictures are 3-4 pages away from the last page of our blog. You may want to scroll back and see. We got take the water proofing in toilets. Water patch is normal lah. The water proofing is wet. -
Write in to MP and say it's time to change new letter box for your house area. Serangoon North had an upgrading project so HDB changed to new letter boxes, upgrade lifts, build corners, do pavement, painting, basically do everthing new. Last time our letter box also look like WTF.

DAY TWENTY-SEVEN I like number 7 - Lucky 7. Just a quick update before I start my work again... Been on leave for many days, work is piling up. The aircon uncle is here today to lay aircon trunking and install new aircon units for our house. As mentioned earlier, we were deciding to take Mitsubishi or Panasonic inverter, but we bought Mitsubishi inverter. Uncle quoted us reasonable price at $2800, inclusive brackets, pipes, and 5-year warranty from Mitsubishi. Hubby is on leave today to supervise the work. Uncle will ask Hubby if he is okay they lay the trunking like this, the water pipe like that, and gave him some advices why they want to install using these methods. Ugly trunking will be exposed in MBR and study room. Only the Arts room is safe, no trunking running around the room. Uncle tried to hide the trunking in study room by laying the trunking behind the door, and under our study table. So actually it is not that obvious. Unfortunately, MBR cannot get away from the ugly fate. Uncle suggested to lay the trunking beside the left side window, but we requested to leave 3" gap from window because we need to install roller blind/curtain. If the trunking is too near the window, the roller blind/curtain cannot fully block the sunlight from the left side window. And as expected, there will be an ugly board to cover that hole. I think most resale HDB flats all have this ugly board to cover the hole, even my parents' house also has this board. Now I am thinking, if I want to ask uncle to get a board to cover until the window ledge, or just above the compressor. I am a bit greedy. I want the uncle to help me cover the whole piece of wall with board. Shall update later .... -
Look for town council. HDB replaced all old letter boxes to new ones for my house area. We collected our new letter box keys from town council. You can check with them

Definitely nice. I like faux beams but I got no money to do. Can't wait to see yours if you are doing
-
Oh dear. How come the tray will leak?
-
I bought Dunlopillo. We went to Sealy outlets and tested on their beds, we found the mattress too soft and sunken for our liking. We heard bad feedbacks about King Koil mattresses, so that was out. Simmon is too expensive, so we end up buying Dunlopillo.

My aircon man is my father's sub contractor. A very nice uncle. He quoted us $2800(include brackets and amaflex piping) for mitsubishi inverter system 3. -
So expensive! But concrete sink is good. Can last very long

  :D :D :D :D
-
So weird. If they don't want to move out, what for sell the house? Some people are just trying to be funny.
-
Why punch holes outside the house? You bought the recess area outside the house?
-
You are doing concrete kitchen cabinet bottom? Or just the L-end itself cost $1400?
-
I like how the corner space of the kitchen cabinet is being utilised. Is that blum system? Beware of wooden bi-fold. As toilet is wet, the wooden bi-fold may rotten as time goes by when contact with water. This bi-fold door design is nice, but not very practical.
-
So funny, everyone's reaction was WTF! Even I also shocked at the condition of the house. Why do these people even leave their pots and pans for you to throw? What the ****.... You better ask your contractor to chemical wash the house at least twice. Wash away all the stains and bugs. Later got bed bugs hidden somewhere.

The round basin is 15.5", it should fit nicely in your toilet, and cost only $45. Worth to buy that basin, as it is cheap! Oh btw, the tap is separate item, $45 is only for the basin. I just told my hubby about your concrete wall support. He also said must be quite expensive to add that support, and I guess ya, true hor. Anyways, I also don't dare ask much, later need to add more $$$$.
