Ahhh.. 300x600 kitchen floor tiles look nice. From picture, it looks like the kitchen floor tiles have texture, or just design?

Just as I thought so. If rotate the wc, there will not be leg space for the left leg. And I seldom see people think of rotating the wc, except to make the wc higher. If let say you can rotate your wc, the other possible way is to build up a layer (a base) at the dry area which is your basin and wc. By building a layer up, the contractor can build a short pipe for the waste, then you can shift your toilet bowl to the left or right, but the distance for the new pipe must not be too much. It is just a short pipe to link to the main waste pipe, under wc hole. The only possible consquence for building another pipe for the waste is that, because the pipe is not the main pipe to flush waste, this may cause the wc to choke. You can check with your contractor if can do that or not, then maybe you can rotate your wc and shift abit to the right for your left leg room space. -
I know HDB officers can be quite slack at times. They do things at their own pace, but not all are like that. Depends on which area office. Bishan branch is quite on the ball, not sure why. Maybe too many rich people staying there, so their attitudes have to change to the better, otherwise got complains everyday.

DAY THIRTY-FOUR We thought the same painters will be coming to paint the doors, so Hubby rushed home during lunch, hoping to meet the painters to ask them touch up the chocolate wall, but was surprised to see it was another batch of people who did the painting for doors, change lock, and the window handles. We changed the window handles not because they were rusty, but because the "paint" color of the handles dropped, so we thought it would be better to change the window handles to a new set, so that the overall would look better. There you go, we opt to paint the room doors in white. Classic wood doors don't look so bad, right? Veneer doors are too expensive, the next best alternative is to get solid classic doors, which is still cheaper than semi-hollow veneer doors. Using minimal costs to choose the best quality. Plus it matches our main door since HDB provides only classic fire-rated doors, it will look nicer if all the rooms are classic doors too Pardon me if the chocolate wall isn't the same as the design posted earlier. The chocolate might not be dark enough, or shiny enough to reflect the ideal design. I doubt even if I place a warm light bulb at the corridor, the light cannot shine to the chocolate wall as there is a low beam in between MBR and study room doors. Placing track light or spot light in the living room looks redundant too. Our living room has two big ceiling lights, too many lights will make the small living room look crowded. This is the best that we can achieve - 90% similarity. Too bad, Nippon vinyl silk does not come in brown color! Limited color choices. For Dulux paint, I am not sure if Singapore Dulux is carrying these two paints - Dulux Design Metallic and Dulux Design Pearl paint, I cannot find the paint from their book or online catalogue. However, Dulux does sell these two paints in Australia, and it is in Dulux Australia website. Check this out: Dulux Australia How does the Dulux Design Metallic and Dulux Design Pearl works? Hi bincho. Thanks for your patience and dropping by. We hope we don't feed you with wrong information. Our DIY bird cages are sitting at one corner, ready anytime to be installed. We should be able to show everyone some pictures of the lightings and the bird cages this weekends. Since major renovation work will be completed by this week, we intend to arrange our electrician to fix the lightings, DB box, and sockets/plugs either this Friday or Saturday/Sunday. Remember to drop by again this weekend as we will be reviewing our DIY project very soon -
See heng sway, but normally women have the advantage. Act pitiful in front of the HDB officer, they will remember your name, and things will process very smoothly.

Getzski: colors are so unpredictable. We never consider the factors such as natural light and lightings. Next year do repaint again loh. Welcome Chinese New Year (finding excuse just to repaint) NeoBY: I thought 3M tape suppose to withstand weight. We even thought of using 3M hook to hang portray. Looks like 3M tape is just like any other brand tapes -

hubby's fault. Say don't want too dark tone, in the end got to choose a lighter brown. And also, got sunlight shining on the wall, the chocolate becomes lighter color than the design. -

I think so too. Maybe it is the same type of paint that people used to apply on floor tiles, and they used it to paint on walls. We don't normally use glossy paint to paint the walls; lacquer paint is more popular in European countries. One disadvantage is that, if the person cannot accept unevenness of the wall surface, best is don't paint glossy paint. Glossy paint will make the flaw of uneven walls more obvious than before. It really takes a lot of time and effort to make smooth the wall to paint glossy paint. I foresee the charges for sanding the wall and applying lacquer paint will be very expensive. I don't want to get beaten up by the painters. -

Does it make the walls very sticky? I painted the old HDB gate using those kind of paint. It is very sticky and smelly. -

I can't imagine how your common toilet looks like. It seems like HDB squeezes all the pipes in the common toilet.. -
Is it because the water tank is short, that's why not enough power to flush?
