Sorry to keep you guys waiting... And the surprise is.... ..... .... .. TADA! A customized mirror + white wood frame (to match our white door frame) - done by Hubby's uncle We both wanted big mirror in the house, just that we never speak out our mind, until Valerie's suggestion to place a mirror between the two bedrooms, which is a good idea, I told Hubby, he told me that he had been thinking of getting a mirror to place in the house too. I was thinking of placing mirror in the living room, but it just look weird. We were afraid that having big mirror in the house might spoil our earth/nature theme and might become a modern comtemporary home which we didn't like. So Hubby's uncle gave a very good suggestion. He suggested to do wood frame for the mirror, and this would match well with the white wood door frames. And truely, the mirror turns out terrific! The measurement is just right, "merge" together with the two bedroom door frames. And most importantly, the mirror is FOC! So fortunate to have an uncle who is a carpenter. We have another "surprise" tomorrow. Stay tune...

Hehehehe.. getzski's pets. My house also "invited" a lot of insects. We have beetles, flying ants (during rainy days), and other weird weird flies. Stay so high yet have insects coming in. For now, I pray my most hated insect will not come in.

True enough. 15" depth basin might be too big for your toilet. Mine common toilet dimension is 1800 x 1650 mm, when I place 16" basin, there is still space between the wc and basin, but if the basin is smaller by 0.5-1", the space will be more comfortable to stand between the wc and basin.

Nice basin for the first picture. The length is just right. Old HDB basin is 18". Yours is 17", the length is okay. I'm concern about the depth, less than 12" is kind of small if you put a medicine box above the sink. Might hit the head to the medicine box if brushing teeth or rinse mouth. For the second one, the depth is good - 15". If change smaller, might defeat the purposes of a basin. Good to use for washing hands, but not to wash face.

I thought normally they have price tag stick on the basins? I always thought bigger basins = more $$. Smaller basins = less $$. Maybe the small basin you have exchanged for is unique.

How come downgrade basin to smaller one needs to top up?

Ya, that's the second worry. I wonder if the contractors send their workers to any safety course, or any internal safety training before sending their workers out to work. What if they really burn our houses because of their cigratte butts?

I hate workers who smoke in my house. I don't mind they throw the cigratte butt on the corrugated cardboard as long don't burn the house, but I can't stand them throwing the cigratte butt on my water trapper! Now my water trapper has yellow stain.
