OK, do what you want to do, its your money after all. Just to let you know what happened to my neighbour; He wanted to renovate his single-level penthouse and got the permission from MA. But, during the inside renovation of unit, he (by the way!) covered with metal roof two his balconies, but for this kind of work he didn't applied for permission to MA and he done it illegaly (MA didn't approve the roofing and never will because it is against the Rules&Regulations of our Condo). After he finished the renovation, they (MA) noticed the roofing during the inspection of his unit and ordered him to remove it all. But, he refused to do it so now they all are at Court....I think that he will lost the case and will need to remove all roof instalations, as well as to pay all costs of trial (and there should be some kind of fine too) cause he done it without permission of MA. Just imagine how much money he spent for roofing the balconies (isolation, material, workmanship,....) after what he will probably be ordered by Court to remove it and, on the top of it, to pay some fine.... So, maybe some MAs will no bother what owners are doing during the renovation of their units, but you always have that 'other ones' who will inspect every detail after......so its better to be sure 100% what you are allowed to do, then after have a lot of problems.....

Just was at King & King Wong today (Nex shop.mall @ Serangoon MRT) and saw something similar, but I'm not sure if that will match your taste cause they are with wooden top (not marble like that one at your photo). And they are higher than this one at your photo. The price for this one is S$ 133.50 (discounted from S$ 333.80). High 74 cm, top length 70 cm. This one is going for S$ 104.50 (discount from S$ 261.30). High around 60 cm, top 63 cm. For that one the price is S$ 122.40 (from S$ 306). High around 65 cm, top 60 cm. Just to mention - the first and the second one I saw only those pieces (so, one each), and for third one there are few pieces around...... Anyway, saw that they have some 'display clearance sale' of furniture and everything at their upper floor is going for around 50% off, so if someone would like to catch good bargain need to hurry cause there are not so many items left.....

Everything is going by 50% off, all items at their upper floor are on sale. Forgot to mention some other thing regarding your wish to hack the master bedroom wall to create an open concept. Our master bathroom is very long and we wanted to have some kind of 'window' between our bathroom and master bedroom, to look like one big space. So, NOT to hack the wall completly, just to remove part of the wall what is needed for that 'window'. But, Management didn't aprove it despite that this wall is not 'main' supporting wall and we are on the top (so above our unit is only roof). Everything you will wish to do in your unit will go for approval to Management and after your renovation they will come to check what have you done and if your renovation is like they approved. At least that was what happened to us....maybe some other Condos have other rules, but I'm quite sure that they all are the same more or less.....

I'm trying to find something similar already few months, so saw some at few places. This one I saw at Castilla (Park Mall) few months ago (I don't now if they still have it, but price was S$499): Last year was some clearance sale @ XZOT (in their warehouse at west Coast) so there I saw this one (the price was S$919 and for that was -25% discount): As well, I'm not sure if that can be found today in their shops. Then, there is one which can be found at John Erdos (Dempsey Road) http://www.johnerdosgallery.com/sidetables.php?1 and the price is S$525 (for 55 cm high) or S$550 (for 70 cm high): So, this is all what I found around in the shops lately and all these side tables are with metal legs. There are few I saw with wooden legs, but I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for.....

Regarding the Artisan Pieces, I need to say that I've managed to receive my custom art piece. It look like that Imran is not an owner, just supervisor, cause I've managed to speak with owner Mary and she speeded up the process of finisnih my order. Just yesterday she delivered that art piece and (I need to say it, despite long wait!) that I'm very satisfied with result.

This one I saw few months ago at John Erdos @ Dempsey - measurements are around 30x20 cm and the cost was S$58: This one I saw at Mustafa just yesterday: It is complete of 3 trays different sizes (there is one key-chaine on top of it, just for comparison of size of the trays) and the price is S$18.90.

Have you sign in with them? What are your experiences with their job?

Before anything other, check with Management if you are allowed to do it. Is your roof terrace open-sky or with some kind of roof? Cause, if it's open-sky, then maybe you will not be allowed to put any kind of roof/trellis/awning due to GFA (Gross Floor Area), not to mention to built-in anything...... We have penthouse as well (but, one level) with 3 open-sky terraces/balconies but we are not allowed to put any kind of anything above them cause that GFA.......

Few months ago they've changed some filling in my bench, as well as repair 4 dining chairs (they were with shaking legs). Also, I had some ottoman (like L-extension of sofa in living room) and wanted to add some storage space into it - they've done an excelente job with it! I'm really satisfied with them and, just to mention, I'm veeeeryyy picky and want that everything will be done like I imagine that . They were very profesional, Lawrence replied to my email and he was 'in charge' for the job. Oh, yeah, almost forgot, I ordered from them cushions for baywindows in childrens rooms as well and they were definitely cheaper than at 3 other places were I compared the prices with. Their first quotation didn't change and at the end there were not any "additonal cost" or whatever, and pick up and delivery items are free of charge no matter how many times they need to come. Send them email with photos of items for repair with description and they should reply shortly.

Well, I don't have pleasant experience with them....... Ordered one custom art piece and sent them cheque with half of the price (that was around New Yaer, so 3 months ago). After 2 weeks received photo of that art piece, but found one mistake and wanted to be corrected - for which Imran (owner??) accepted to be done. After that, no any sound of them, so already 2,5 months.... I've sent them few reminder-emails, called to every HP which I found at their web-site - but, no any reply to email, no answers to phone calls or any calls back...... They do not have any shop, and if you would like to go to their "workshop" then you should make an appointment in advance by calling any of their HPs - for which I mentioned before that nobody answered or call back....and they do not know my HP number (in case if they want to avoid me) cause only contact by now with them was by emails..... Imran was very 'soft-speaking' during my order, like "everything will be done by your order, no worry, delivery time is up to 15 days" and so on and on, but becomes like this.....
