mine also 860mm when measured to the top. but i measured to the bottom of my table top and its ard 780mm. i used normal stool to stack piece by piece to get the height of the chair im comfortable with, need to be in brtween 550-600mm. one bad thing abt bar stool is they dont really have high backing, my wife wanted with slightly high backing one which make it more tough. if u wan a wide selection of chairs, i recommend u go comfort design at eunos and winter international at kaki bukit ave 1. they have alot of choices for u to look/see. i'll try to take a pic of my chair soon.

some pics to share. actually i kinda took over already few days ago. furnitures and appliances all starting to deliver. will settle down and take some final pics of the reno done. my mbr glass door, the empty space inside will do a full mirror. this is my wiw, with colored pvc. never really took much pics on my wiw cos angle abit tight. there's left/right, centre is cabinet. another view of my living room - tv area. decided not to mount the tv at the time being cos actually ordered a D series, but they ran out of stocks and upgraded me to the latest samsung E series. the legs looked kinda nice, plus the cement screeded wall i scared it's abit fragile.. so temporary din't wall mount....

yah i did had a hard time looking for the chairs as u mentioned, bar stool is too high and dining chairs is too low. i didn't wanna lower the dining height cos me and my wife is kinda tall.. it'll be difficult for us if the kitchen top is abit lower. i went ard many shops looking for chairs, i went lush, comfortdesign, winter international, molecule, life storey, gnee hong, cellini, lorenzo, star living, OM, grafunkt, mondi etc... thought of doing customized bench as well, but put off the idea in the end. managed to find in the end, tough. haha

my sofa arrived, the feature wall done. exposed part of it, lol! blinds up as well.

hmm, i wasn't quoted extra for this. requested through my ID and told him i wanted the better one according to the supreme website and he gave it to me. but limited to the 8mm series haha. the laminate flooring is included in my reno package. PS: the worksmanship by the supreme people is quite good.

thanks for sharing sandy. actually to be honest if u dont post, i wont know the backgrd details also. im more of the cautious type, in fact before i signed with them.. i met my ID 7-8 times till i felt comfortable then i sign. of cos i did went up their showroom etc. sometimes the backgrd details does help but its also more than just that. good info for ppl thats abt to go into renovation. :)

yah searched ard for the chairs for a v long time and finally managed to get one to match!

lol no prob. think the bedhead with lights etc shld be quite common bah hahaha. the platform came out to be a little bit low i feel.. but the contractor told me that was the max he can go.. cos of my window height. i thot higher abit would be nicer..

you started your reno as well? yah there are too many IDs out there, choosing the right one also a headache process. will get to a stagnant point where we will feel every ID is talking abt the same thing..

got this tv, the latest samsung es series, es6600 my mbr, lights on and bed head added... my kitchen sink and tap. told the ID i wanted a dining table built in coming out from the kitchen top since i was doing open concept and end prodict was quite nice i feel.. only thing is i had a hard time looking for dining chairs as kitchen top is higher..

my 3D ah.. i try to look for them hee. i think the reason why i choose them is becos the ID i spoke to is around my age, can click easily and i feel its eaiser to talk. the others is more of like a formal kind of relationship like ID and customer, cant really talk much. also if i wanna request certain stuffs might be hard also..

bought this mirror-ed effect oven.

i topped up 1k+ for that whole wall plus console and the feature that i gonna do to it.. the shorter wall was quoted to me as a package. this way i feel the house would be more spacious looking..

so best is to give and take. if u chose an ID thats always calculating one then good luck to you... its a long journey..

diyed the mosiacs to white.. cos dont really like the greeny colors.. the full ht shoe cabinet and the pigeon hole.. did a full console and feature wall instead of the proposed shorter wall... heh.. bought this waterfall tap and round sink for mbr..

so what i did is to join up common rm to mbr. seal the common room door. make a wiw plus a computer desk. the bomb shelter area will be doing a full ht shoe cabinet and the pigeon hole. lightings up.. floorings of common rm and mbr. used supreme laminates. another shot. did a platform.

this is a typical 4rm layout of dew spring. mine the kitchen bomb shelter is opposite from the pic. bomb shelter on left, kitchen on right.
