wat did you ordered? that's amazon way of packing they dont care...just put small items in one big box... they could have save u some a/f costs but did not.. -
Thanks! Yours is nicer and look more robust...i bet the sound proofing must be very solid, from your pictures shown. The shine from your sink is quite different from mine. Yours is more shiny, plus with alot more accessories. Yi fen qian, yi fen huo... We are actually shortlisting the 680 x 530 x 220 mm (but we find that abit small). So decided to settle for this dimension.

Granite sinks, from what i know from my ID, will have give out some powder due to contact to detergents (dont flame me, this is what i gather from my ID and frens)...but for that to happen, will be after a few years time. But Granite looks better....and can only be top mount. I was browsing through quite alot of shops, considering whether to go for granite sinks or SS sinks before settling for the industrial type (Squarish design, 1.2 mm thickness). brand is SQM (Malaysian brand). Got this SQM sink for approx S$ 330, 780mm width x 450 x 230 mm depth. Model is Monic. Made in China. With 15 mm round edges along all corners, comes with sound proofing coating on the underside of the sink. Purchased my sink from Marcus, LITE FUSION located at upper serangoon

Hi Bro, Relax, I understand your point here in which the prices Zero have quoted to you, you have not found them to be on the cheaper side as what other dealers / supplier have quoted you, thus you have made the decision NOT to buy from him. As what I have earlier mentioned, in order to get the best deal, one need to source carefully through different suppliers to get quotes for comparison. If prices are not right or you dont feel comfortable, just give your business to other suppliers. Its good and appreciated that you have shared your experience on the higher pricing issue that Zero have quoted you and thus, you decided to give other suppliers / dealers business. BUT, i think its unfair to say Zero have cheated forummers of their hard earned money, as Zero have delivered the products as per pricing agreed between a seller and a buyer. When the buyer decided the pricing with the reseller and have purchased the items, and got it as per agreed delivery date, if the buyer later found out that the reseller have quoted him higher, he is of course welcome to share his experiences with the rest of the pple here and may have decided that in future, he MAY not buy from him again. I dont think the seller have cheated the buyer as its a deal done and agreed by both side with the goods delivered. If its really a cheating case, then am i right to say that the buyer can make a police report against the reseller for selling him at a higher pricing than other suppliers? Same thing here as in there are a few food courts side by side (eg. kou fu, S11...) selling same food like, eg. carrot cake. IF kou fu sells $3.00 per plate, but S11 sells $3.50 per plate. You buy from S11. Do you also tell pple that S11 cheat pple of the 50 cents? Ok lah...no offence meant, i also not trying to protect anyone or side with anyone. ITs always best to compare pricing before purchase...thats my point of view.

nice stuffs u got for your flat.... -
Hi Milliewalker, Just giving a neutral point of view, I find Zero's pricing to be competitive enough for me to have purchased a set of cooker hob and hood from him. Yes, prices may vary from shop to shop but to term Zero as cheating is totally uncalled for. He MAY have quote a pricing higher than what his competitors have offered. If potential customers are able to find cheaper pricing lower than what Zero is offering, they got an option NOT to buy from him. I dont think there have been cases of Zero cheating customers by not delivering the goods when payment is received. One can choose to have an option of NOT buying from him if he can find cheaper pricing elsewhere. To ensure the best deals, I feel that its always best to have source around for a pricing in which suits oneself. If the pricing is not competitve, move on to another supplier.

Spent the months of Nov 2011 to Feb 2012 looking for IDs / Contractors. That took up alot of our time.... On the positive side, we did learn quite a fair bit of stuffs, the needs and wants, the good and bad.... Below are a list of IDs that we went to... Sum Hup (located near North Link Building) - This is a company with very good workmanship...Great carpentry...Comfort level is ok as this is the lst company we visited Outlook Exterior (or Interior) - Recommended by my ex colleague (3rd company we visited, comfort level is good, 7/10) Home Success - Managed to know them while going to Expo Exhibition (2nd company we visited, comfort level 1/10), this is a very long story on what happened, dont wish to bring it up again... MOD - Recommended by my gf's fren (6th company we met - Great innovation ideas, but exceed our budget, comfort level 7/10) North West Interior - Recommended by my gf's colleagues (4th company we met 7/10) BLue and Blve - recommended by my customer (5th company we met 6/10) After so many months of negotiation, exhaustion and frustrations sets in. We are quite tired and felt quite ''sian'' by the delay to start work. This is further hampered by the fact that CNY is approaching and every ID / contractor is rushing to complete on schedule. Hence, we decided to start only after CNY.... 1.5 weeks after CNY, we finally settled for a guy named, SOH. -

Hi, Just to share my experience. I am not link or related to any of the shops below. This is after visiting alot of shops recommended by bros and sis here in RT forum. I been to RF, GR Marketing, Poh Joo, Hoe Kee (Jalan Besar, Genting Lane, IMM), SSJ (IMM), Adamas, Heritage, *spam and Lite fusion. RF - Small Shop but loads of items. Boss is very friendly and knowledgeable. Although not pushy, but boss was quite passionate about the products he have on hand and share with us his experiences and thoughts. PJ - Small shop with lots of display. Service wise, average, not up to my expectations. Dont have chemistry. Hoe Kee IMM / Jalan Besar - Service was good, but did not like the kitchen sink and their in house tap. We are looking for industrial sink but the ones that they have is quite out of our expectations. Service was extremely good in Genting Lane, a young lady attended to us. When we are at the cooker hood section, an old man (i think should be the big boss), attended to us, telling us more on the Fujioh made in jap hood. FX 890 (Just note that for this hood, if u are intending to purchase it, u have to ask ur contractor to make allowances up to 900mm for the slot as this hood is only 890 mm in length), this is to ensure that in future, if u need to find replacement hood, u can do so easily. Adamas - We make one round in the showroom, the uncle just follow us...without making noise. Decided not to buy from this shop, maybe due to lack of chemistry. GR Marketing - Boss and wife is very friendly. Good service. SSJ - Shop quite crowded. Sales stuffs seems like under man power. Did not feel like purchasing from there. Heritage - Good service. Staff is attentive. *spam - Managed to have Steven to serve us, very knowledgeable and good service. Lite Fusion - Small shop with lots of display. Initially, when we went there. A guy (we dont know his name), served us. He gave us the very non pushy and abit bo chap attitude, but still, he is friendly. As we asked about more products, he opened up to us and share with us what his other customers experienced. He would also recommended us what he personally use and share with us whether that item is good or not. We spent a total of 3 hours there and that guy (we still dont know his name as he forgotten to give us his card) is very very patient with us, helping to source for the required taps, basins, WCs, lights. We discovered that the lights that he have in his shop is cheaper than the shops we went in Jalan Besar and also Balestier. Overall, we have laughing experience as we find him very funny and patient as we are quite choosy, esp on the kitchen sink. 3 weeks later, after going through and comparing all the quotes, my gf asked me who do we get the items from as each and every shop have items which are cheaper and also expensive than one another What we did was, getting the cheapest quotes and I brought my gf to go to Lite Fusion as out of all the above shops that we visited, we found that the guy in LITE FUSION is sincere, honest and based on the lst visit, we have quite a enjoyable experience. We came out laughing from the shop, something that we dont have in the rest of the shops. We went to the shop 3 days ago. Once we entered, one of the staff walked up to serve us. But I walked straight to the guy who served us previously and pointed at him. He recognised immediately and came up to serve us. We shortlisted the items and the pricing that other shops gave us, then told him what we want. When we told him the prices that he gave is too high, he called up his supplier quite a number of times (on the kitchen sink) to verify and pressed his calculator again and again and did his best to match our price. IF he cannot meet the price, he will tell us to buy directly from his competitors. But out of the 7 items that we have shortlisted, he met 6 of our prices. The only item that he cannot met is one of the basin taps in which he does not bring in and i believe that his competitor brought in himself. I do recommended that Lite Fusion located at upper serangoon road. Look for Marcus (you can tell him that the Choa Chu Kang couple recommend you, he will know who already), he is a very very funny guy (his facial expressions sometimes will make you laugh). On top of that, he is quite honest and is a very patient and non pushy guy. It is only after we have paid up, then we know that his name is Marcus. He allowed us to pay by CC, which let us earn some points also. I have purchased a Crizto toilet bowl, Crizto triangular round shaped basin, basin tap (pozzi), a SQM industrial square sink, and some small accessories there. I reckon that the main reason on why we bought from him is that we have a enjoyable and laughable experience, as compared to the other shops that we visited.

Hi, Would like to seek advice if the cooker hob can face fridge? part of my cooker hob is facing the fridge on the opposite side? is this good? I understand that its not good that cooker hob face kitchen sink but not sure of the above. Advice and comments appreciated. Thanks.
