Need help, anyone know how much to convert AC outlet from per 1G to 2G. Also extend additional per 2G switch tapping on existing switch next to it (less than 0.5 meter away from existing AC outlet). Need to do approx. 15 pts conversion and extension.

As long you insist to use their in-hse carpentry should be okay. Their in-hse carpenter workmanship are quite good cause they did in my relative hse. Mine was done by their outsource carpentry....bad luck... All their IDs are the same methodology....period... Catch hold of the management team if thing is not right. If any change request, do it in B/W. If thru email, ensure it is thru their company email and not those gmail or yahoo email to avoid void CR being agreed and committed.

My house was done by Idees last year. Their price are really competitive and the 3D drawing was impressive however the workmanship was disappointed. Till date, I still have to source my own to do repair works....

After the survey, the quote was amended to $410 including GST. Seem reasonable which include dismantle of the existing glass panel. Now wait for the completion installation to judge the workmanship.

Final Total spend on the reno is $100k exclude furniture. Info 1 1) Try not to buy those China LED strips, dun last long. I install in the wardrode and the light brightness fade away within few months I have to re-do again myself.

Yesterday, my wife/my mum/my maid have very very very bad experience with Elite. The whole situation are as follow 1) My sis-in-law engaged Elite to move my 1 x wardrode(L1500mm x H1900mm x D800mm) to her house. 2) 4 guys came at 4pm to my house to relocate the wardrode. 3) Once they saw the wardrode, they complaint is a 4 doors wardrode and not 2 doors and request extra charges. I told them, "you meant Elite quote by number of doors and not the in feet(ft). Not only that, they are rude, dirty, grumpy 4) While they dismantle the wardrode, they did not even wrap it including the mirror. I asked they, "why didn't they wrap it up", they said not necessary at all 5) Later one of the guy used my toilet, he did not flush it after use. He thought my toilet is a public toilet 6) Upon reaching my sis-in-law, they also complaint, grumpy and provide poor service while fixing up the wardrode. 8) After fixed up, my sis-in-law/my nephew notice the wardrode back panel was not fix correctly, and told them the problem. One of them reply, "it is due to your floor and wall not straight". 9) My sis-in-law was so angry and called up their boss. The boss talked to their workers over the phone and they have heated arguement within them. "My Goodness", even the boss can't control and manage his workers. 10) In the end, the wardrode was "NOT FIX AT ALL". The 4 guys just collect the money and left. This is a truth scenario happened yesterday. To describe it, I would said to the 4 of the guys who move the wardrode are "rude, dirty, smelly, grumpy, poor service". I would not know the rest of the Elite workers having similar attitude. But one thing very sure that my whole family will never never use "ELITE MOVERS" again.

Lighting.com.sg is selling at $16 for 4FT T5 (using Philip tude) Eunos Warehouse is selling at $13 for 4FT T5 (using unknown brand tude). If convert to Philip tude, add $1 each. Balestier Road (opp Balestier Plaza) is selling at $12.5 (using unknown brand tude) I bought 24 x T5 from Eunos Warehouse.

Manage to get important advice from one of the light expert and showcase to me. If using LED strips (be it using 5050 standard or high density), the brightness will be only along the L-Box, the middle of the surrounding L-box will be quite dark/dim If using T5 tube light, the whole room will be cosy lighted up using warm white. In the end, I selected T5 cause my living area exclude dining area, is quite big(4.7m by 4m). Although I know LED is energy saving, but feeling and right amount of lights are my top prority. For those with small room, using LED strips should be okay. The light expert also told me that LED strips are usually use on platfrom, stairways, display cab, wardrobe, kitchen area. If you want to have exact feel, brightness and see the LED strips decoration, go to sim lim sq. A lot of shops used LED strips on their display cabinet. (Just my personal thought)

Hi; Need some advice.... is T5 or LED strip(5050) recommended for cove light. I understand that LED is more on energy saving, but afraid in term of brightness, LED strips are less brighter than T5 light.

My next shop will be the buying lights. So far has narrowed down to 3 shops They are; 1) eWarehouswe at Kaki Bukit - Ceiling, Walls lights 2) Lightings.com.sg - to buy PLC Philip Downlight 3) Sim Lim Towers - LED strips, adaptors and transformers, connectors Intent to convert all T5 to LED strips. It is much cheaper in term of electrical pt and energy saving. The only items need to pay extra are the adaptor and transformers. Current LED is approx $18-$22 per meter. If buy 1 roll(5 meters), price arrange from $16-$20. For adaptor range $20-$30 and for transformer range $70-$90. Manage to nego $16 per meter(warm and cool white)from a shop at Sim Lim Tower. But yet to confirm. Pending my ID to provide me the length requirement. The price for T5 (4FT) approx $16. 4FT is equal to 1.2 meters Try not do buy from Ubi shop where display a lot LED lights. The boss quote me $26 p/m
