is there really a difference? when i went to the shop to ask (chelsea) i asked for windpac..they keep saying airvac...so i tot maybe its refering to the same fan.... but both are acyrlic blades, right? Does the windpac comes in white? I need a white ceiling fan...

i din use, but have been quoted for it..its more expensive than what my ID quoted for parquet..so gave up due to budget constraints...

Hi would like to find out from fellow forumers if the base your suspended cabinets (kitchen and tv console), what kind of finishing is it? Laminates, polyken/white pvc or just plain plywood? I meant the surface facing the floor... TIA...

got a quote of $620 for 3770 by 700 size tempered glass backing...so urs should be quite affordable....maybe less than 200?

update.... parquet has been laid for all rooms....tiling work done. false ceiling is up....aircon trunking up too.... laminates have not been finalised yet....coz i wanna install glass backing for kitchen wall.... currently working on technical specs for carpentry.....

hi skywolf i just had my parquet floors done by HH and their recommend installer, Mr Gan as well. guess in terms of quality, i cant demand too much coz its cheaper by abt 2k, as wat is quoted by my id firm.... i received the invoice from them..but haven issue cheque yet...and i also paid $30 for moving the stuff up my place...

hi jessie reno progress is so slow....parquet should be up this week...they r also boxing up the pipes....and taking measurements for carpentry..... so this weekend need to buy lights, sanitoryware, order curtains and blinds....will be choosing my laminates this weekend.... overall, think my reno will be delayed by one week...so i can only move in mid july....

wow...seems like my quote for rollerblinds is very exp....mine cost $350 for 5 panels only.....10 panels will cost me $700..... can share ur contacts? the quote is for dimout blinds only for the jap system...

yeah...currently my boy has lots of bumps...guess its either the weather or he is stressed up with the house moving... there will be no changes to the living hall, but i will be making color changes to the kitchen and toilets (decor tiles change to mosaic) as the tile size dun match... As for the kitchen, changes could be solid surface - white change to grey bottom laminate - brown change to glossy black top laminate - remains glossy white will try to upload pics in the next post....for the reno progress..

just to share that my hacking was also delayed for 3 weeks..hdb keep saying they dun understand my ID's drawings...my ID sent in so many drawings..but things were stuck..finally, i cant take it, called up the technical officer, highlighted that i'm homeless..need to move in urgently, found a internet photo of wat i wanted to do (hack a window on the kitchen wall) and emailed over... and the magic works...i received an email the VERY NEXT DAY stating that my wall hacking has been approved....

wow...i ordered my sofa and bedframe from furniture club at beach road as well...but was told to pay full price (not deposit) ..and i did...thinking back now..i felt that it wasn't necessary...that salesperson din even ask me if i want to have a package...were u told that the sofa has 10 years warranty? though I like the sofa..i am starting to have doubts on the company....dun feel secure abt my purchase... ...and my 2 items cost 4.9k...gosh...have not choosen the colors for the sofa and bedframe yet...will make a trip down this sat... hope the company is reliable ....
