for me, i think i will wash the service yard at least once a month. although i wont splash water as what the hawkers do, i dun want water to seep into the underside of the washer, causing it to rust... actually the contractor suggested using wooden blocks to hold it instead of the base but since it's at a corner of the service yard, it is actually ok to do the base. at least that is wat we tink lah... and we did not do exactly the shape of the washer... we did it across the width of the service yard... however, if just pure mopping, then the base is really not necessary

i have base for my kitchen cabinets and washer but no for the fridge initially debating whether to get base for washer... coz contractor told me i can just get wooden blocks to hold the washer up and that certainly is cheaper... but after much hesitation, we just go ahead doing base for the washer... not really a monkey see monkey do situation coz at least we did some consideration

hi tydy, my AD was 2 years back probably that's why there's a difference in service? my coordinator had left M hotel... which one is Anson room? at my time, the one at 2nd floor is known as function room. is that the one? think beginning of this yr, a ex-colleague of mine had also held her banquet there... i didnt attend but no complaints from the other ex-colleagues...

i had my banquet at M hotel and mine is at the Banquet Room so it's more of no blocked views and no pillars blocking find the decor and everything ok leh... and i have the whole floor to myself with a dressing room just next to the ballroom for me to change to my evening gown is it really that bad as wat u guys mentioned?

thanks for the comments, guys!! final plan is different from original's we decided to just have the downlights at the dining area and forgo the part at the living area there will be 8 downlights at the dining area, operated 4 downlights by each switch the reason for the need of so many downlights is that they will serve as the main lightings for the house. we will not have any dining lights so that the dining area will not be fixed
