Thanks for your nice review abt systemind platform. You should visit Hoffen showroom. A bit inconvenient to go there though, bad traffic, small roads. But the kitchen models r nice.

Thank you SzeHui. Have talked to my hubby n more or less we still stick to solid surface. Today we visited our new flat to check on defects. Not much except some badly done grout lines n skirting joints, n a few windows with scratching noise. Maybe we are not a fussy couple at all.

Aiya... Quartz n still stained.. Seem like nothing comes with minimal maintainance required. Thanks for the info.

I went to search for sleek tblog, read up n down but I can't find the part u mentioned. I went on to search abt quartz in this forum... Yah, very expensive... I have only consider solid surface so far, as I like how seamless it is with an acrylic molded sink. My current kitchen has one like that, very nice... Mid night, I am supposed to sleep but I can't.... Can't decide which kitchen counter top for my kitchen. I have read abt all the pros n cons of solid surface, granite and quartz.. The only thing makes me prefer solid surface top still is becos it doesn't show the joined line and it can have an acrylic molded sink so the look is seamless n totally non-leakage.

SzeHui, I asked my husband n he said why not consider having quartz counter top instead? It has all the best feature of natural stone materials, except for the colors. And really endurable, much better than granite. Granite still can get stained while quartz does not. What do you think?

Mine is still at the same stage: finding contractor! We are moving at snail speed.

For new BTO flat, hdb let you choose to have a few options: doors or no door, tiles for living room? But seems like for buying premium flat, you can only choose to opt out the doors or not. Since damai grove is a standard BTO flat project, can opt to have all things bare.. For toilet tiles, cannot hack as there is a warranty on waterproofing for 3 yrs. after that, can try hacking. ---- I am seriously in love with the haiku fan. But budget will not allow me to have one..........

I agree that it's not a huge error, as long as I have all my safety measure in check. Hubby said at least the platform is removable so if one fine day we are asked to remove it, it is an easy task.. Hahaha... Only hubby met Andrew so far n he was late for more than one hour. He sent us the quotation one day late and he got my hubby's name wrong. And Andrew cant speak comfortably in English n we prefer English. So, Until now we still Look around.
