At first I am still trying to figure out from your balcony pic on which blk you stay..but after seeing your red sofa pic..i know liao..lolz I remember last week standing at my MBR window..i asked my hubby what is the red thing on the wall at that unit (being short sighted - can't see it clearly)..hubby said don't know..look like sofa or wall feature...I told my hubby..it looks like those sofa fix to the wall used for dinning place..so I am consider right..hehe..I love your reno..very nice and vintage feeling...(don't code me as peeping tom..ok..hehe - just that feel good watching one by one, more and more units moving in with lights on - happy to see that). Love your kitchen concept too..but I can't have it..as hubby will be the 1st one to reject..even he don't cook..and with my 3 kids..all these reno ideas..is out out out for me liao..so i can only dream or view others .

The fan shaft just nice for the length in between 2 false ceiling. The fan is installed on the cement ceiling not on the false ceiling...so height still ok.

So far we still find it ok..we sweep & mop the floor everyday - not an issue to us. My hubby wants a chair that got back and i want the legging to be stainless steel so tat look perfect for us

Oh yes bro..the plants really brighten up the whole balcony. @ the moment the wind is from the main entrance but still not too bad..not stuffy.

Hope to see more of the pics of your hse after you collect the keys Initially my hb and I also feeling 'itchy' to apply for 5 room or the loft unit @ punggol sapphire but foresee the limited units of the loft and budget issue - we have opted for 4 room instead. Every evening when back from work..seeing those lighted loft units..make me curious to view how the loft unit look like..hehe

wow WIW...how I wish I can have one myself but too bad no space for that as all my 3 bedrooms are fully occupied. Lately too many constructions @ punggol so it tends to be easily dusty. For my place, even my maid clean/sweep/mop the house everyday but I still find it dusty @ nite when I back from work. I think I have to bear with it till all the surrounding constructions have been fully done (I think it should takes around 1 - 2 years time.

At last we have finally moved in to our new house yesterday. Been busy packing and unpacking so no time to take pics to upload. Will try to do so by these few days.

Thanks sis! still can't do anything this week - just contacted the contractor and he said only can do polishing of the parquet flooring for the 3 bedrooms this Friday (still need to let it dry up for @ least 2 days) then next week will do the necessary drilling for clock, toilet accessories, etc and last whole house cleaning (just hope everything can be done before 15 Dec as all my furniture will be coming on that day)-cross my fingers

I like your white house very much - how i wish I can reno my house like yours..but too bad i can't as I got 3 kids to handle and white is definitely a NO No (since my gal only 13 mths old).

Oh yeah, my reno is almost 85 - 90% completed - everything should be ready latest by next week (cross my fingers ) the study table is just like a L-shape table with 3 drawers which link to the wardrobe so i can put my small TV (22") there or work/surf net with my laptop on the longer side of the L-shape desk. My wardrobe is 6ft but i find that the contractor actually get the capenter to do the wardrobe more than 6ft as it cover up the whole wall. So far i find the workmanship ok and i did see the workers doing and talk to them ..we are happy wif their workmanship. So yr house reno already start? HDB already approved the hacking permit?

Thanks I do have downlights but they are at the other end of the living room where the sofa is situated. They are 3 pcs of 6 1/2 inch downlights there but the switch for these downlights are yet to install as switch is situated at the house shelter feature wall.
