  1. Hi, we have some experienced buying ready make furnitures. Especially for the study room, where the space will be not so huge and you will want to maximize the usage of every corners. So I will go for custom make. Pick a design you like and get the carpenter to built. If you buy ready make, you will need to make a good allowance to fit the shelves side by side. As the flooring measurement will be different from the top measurement. There are some nice collection. If you compared to Ikea pricing, you will need to multiple by 10. A 3 meter shelves will cost you more than 10k.
  2. Hi, I would like to get some of your advise on the mixing of different color of furnishing for living room and dinning room furnitures. I have bought a complete white TV console come with hanging shelves. I have a white leather sofa and white leather single seat with walnut wood frame. I have a wooden 2 m long dining talen, also in walnut color. I have a red carpet in the living room. The living room and the dining room area will be painted in white. Now I need to get some shelves and a 2 meters longs side table to put the door entrance. Which type of furnishing should I get? 1) the same walnut color furniture from FC? 2) or looks for Chinese style furnishing? Which in most cases, do not have matching design for shelves and table, always come in one or 2 pcs? Also will this type match with my white TV console? 3) or look for the same type white color shelving and table? But the dinning table is in walnut color, Javanese design (bought at railway mall) Actually I wanted to say is that, I feel like I have messup the design and the color theme...I am looking for a corrective action.
  3. Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding ceiling fans. I wanted to install ceiling fans at the living room, but I also have a chandelier next to it. I have planned to put the fans about 50 cm awayt from the chandelier. A small ceiling fans, 48" one. Has anyone home has this concept? Is it practical to put a ceiling fans next to a chandelier? Is it looks ok..nice or looks overcrowded? Will the chandelier sway? According to most fans shop, it is ok to put a ceiling fans and chandelie next to each other. I guess they want to sell me the fans. My 2nd question, I am unable to find a nice designer fans in Singapore. Like those selling in Australia or the US. I don't know how to explain in details the design, it just need to look neat and simple. Thanks for your advise.
