All this while, I thought that it's by default that every household will have a point outside their doorway. I was so wrong. Because The previous owner opt out of the program, I had to contact open net for advice, I would say their service is kind of let down. Priorities will be given to to telco instead of home owners although we pay the same amount. Sucks right? You may ask, why install now and not later on. The terminal will be install at the far end of the In build TV console. If I don't run it now, there will be no way they can pull the cable through the console. The down side is that I will have two service providers till one that runs out in August. M1 - cheapest around, but waiting time to run the terminal is only available on 15 January. Starhub - needs 5working days for the sales team to get a confirm installation date. I don't know if system lousy or no communication between dept. just brush me off as keep saying sales will call back. MR - online sign up was a breeze. Just key in your particular and the earliest installation date will appear. Either 31 dec or 4 January. Now I'm waiting for the confirmations of installation after signing up with them.

The upgrade cost is minimum, an extra $20 per point. That makes its pretty worth while for a long term view.

Is this an Aircon water discharge pipe or water pipe. If its Aircon, you can ask your ID to re- tile to conceal. Just extra cost, and you will not get sleepless night or regret later on.

Is this the wet or dry portion of the toilet? Maybe you can paint the trucking as per the colour of the tiles with the black lining to make it less obvious.

If you look carefully at the picture, I do know why your ID made such a big box. The Aircon piping are still within the area of the vertical trucking.If he do a smaller box up, that will leave your power point expose. I think it up to you to have a expose point or a bigger box.

As I'm not working today, I Headed down to Gary office to buy the lightings. Turn out there is no stock for the down lights I wanted. Later in the day, Gary inform that a parcel from DHL will be arriving and he will be delivering my purchased items to my place. Great customer service. Thumps up.

After a late long discussion with simon and electrician. We manage to agree on an amount that is acceptable to all parties. I have edited away the posting on the first quotation based on they are willing to neg. One inportant thing in Reno for future new home buyers, stand firm and get a second quote for comparison if you think the charges are too unreasonable. Don't blindly believe and follow your ID sub-con words. Wiring will begin this Saturday.

Wife wanted a small custom vanity with drawers in the bathroom and was advised not to by Simon. Reason given proper maintenance and care needed. Not wanting the normal ones with the sink on top with two open doors below. I went online and manage to find a full stainless steel piece with drawers with a solid stone top. Since i have no pictures of the work done over at my place. I shall post the chosen Cabinet laminate and bedroom doors. I will be using the Porceain white laminate for the whole house. My Carpenters must be so happy. I'm actually torn between design of 6P and 4P. In the end, i chosen 6P. Reason, it's not that common and i prefer the number 6 ( will explain in the later stages )

After grouting are apply on the master toilet,the tiles do appear nicer ( will post pics when the whole toilet is complete ). Since nothing much have be done lately, i have arrange Wassa to deliver the toilet sink/bowl/heater and kitchen appliance. Everything had came to a stand still. Wasted the last 3 days Waiting for the electrician to run all the wiring today before the rest of the crew can proceed. Spoken to Simon and he assure everything is on schedule ( how not to get worried when i have to vacant my present place in three week time ).Tomorrow will be chaos, electric/ aircon & Plastering will be going at the same time follow by painting and flooring next week. Matt is too dark for me. Honestly 8 years with an all black kitchen its time for a change. Just imagine my floor was matt black ,cabinets gloss black and countertop black, you have no idea how hardworking I was cleaning all the time especially after a major dinner party .. it's really like wa liao eh.. this time for sure lighter shades for me although the heart is itchy itchy to dark colours .. Someone can tell me if this old antenna pipe can be remove? Will I affect my neighbours TV programe I think nobody uses these wall plug nowadays but I may also be wrong. Maybe you can drop Hdb a call just in case.

The master toilet tile does not look as good as I imagine. it looks really nice in Showroom condition but not under daylight. Maybe it will turn out better with the grouting & other items in.
