When I was stayg at my mom's plc in Tamp, we had alota cats ard the neighborhood n sme r veli manja too, they wld come n rub ur legs when u stand still. Guess most cats like to be sayang-d, so sweet Even though we (the kids) cldnt bring the cats hme, we kinda "adopt" the cats n each of them wld belong to 1 or 2 families who fed them. The cats wld den sleep outsde the hse, 1 of my neighbors haf a cat dat looks like a Lion, veli the huge and the fur looks like mink-coat Most of us haf extra catfood packs/tins in our drawers so we can feed them.... Harlow xlan, urs sure meimei wan, urs got ID to design smemre The curtain cover TV is for fengshui purposes, no good to sleep facing reflective surface !! very happi wif this idea dat turn out alrite, we were very worried got no space to walk after installing TV... If u doing the plummet like my MBR for the curtains, remember to install the TV 1st den install curtain tracks. Becuz of the TV, the curtain tracks is installed very the "out" one so it can cover TV properly. And the curtains is sewed such dat the pleats are back-facing....

I teach u Step 1) When u ta-bao food hor, keep the clear plastic box with cover Step 2) Anything can be microwaved, so long as you keep it with the lid on, ar-bo it will "explode" n fly all over ur microwave n soon u will see a beautiful picture inside Step 3) If it dries up the 1st time u cook in microwave, next time, put water inside 1st Step 4) Buy plastic wrap. The microwave will normally come with a free glass plate/bowl. Put whatever u wan to cook inside, cover with plastic wrap n poke holes in the wrap MOST IMPT Step 5) If it doesnt cook in the 1st 10mins, take a chair, sit dwn in front of ur microwave, press another 5min n watch. If whatever inside ballons, press STOP. If it doesnt cook, press another 5min. My FSM say curtains can le...or rather she said "lian" in chinese can, I take it dat all kinda curtains can lah....n she din say haf to touch ceiling le but MUST be wider than the door la. Mabbe u wan to consider installing a silk curtain type instead? The curtain lady recommended me to get my contractor to install a wooden plummet on ceiling (mabbe u can try wooden curtain rod?) n den hang a nice piece of silk from it (mabbe got oriental picture type?)..... but my hse not oriental style so I stick to the cheaper string curtain.... Heehee, I come in Chap-Jik-Ka..... Aircon---Neber install in living/dining but luckily our place is windy. Bght a small cute fan for $100+ n put on a small cute stool to rotate wind around the living n dining area, still cheaper than aircon in longrun. Now Im always screaming at hubby to switch off the aircon n lights when not in use becuz end of mth, the utility bill comes to us liao.... !! Planning to buy a tower fan for use when family comes around for steamboat.... Oven---Must haf! Me canot survive w/o microwave n hubby canot survive w/o his oven. I can cook everythg frm rice to vege to fish in microwave. Oven is useful for making toastbread n chkn n doesnt leave oily stain on floor (when u pan-fry). Dinno abt the elec consumptn though, thanks mace for the highlight !! Gonna bring my old oven in n put 1 side on a small side-table.... No oven is like not bringing weapon to war....

Contractor hafnt finish defects part so I hafnt pay him balance n pending a custom-made shoe cabinet which we just order, 1.2K with the glass display dat I wan Heehee, openhouse after my shoe cabinet come? den nice nice lah.....nw the foyer area abit ugly, patchy patchy dunno kena wat glue le !! ...... my TVs still got the ugly wiring (TV trunking hafnt do up yet n BrownMse trying to figure out how to do his speakers, sigh)... target 2 weekends later mabbe? u guys free end-oct? Tonite go hme shall post mre pics, took sme pictures but cldnt post up due to no internet n the fact that we were cleaning the hse until back break liao everynight...

Harlow mint, ru referring to toilet door (tempered glass) or clear tempered glass (sliding for room)? For tempered glass door for toilet, I thot they shd take the measurements 1st? (same as for all doors in HDB), the door-guy comes dwn n takes measurements 1st...If ur r referring to toilet, dont thk u shd use wooden door frame, wld rot next time due to the water..... For sliding glass door, I oso had a problem with HDB slanting beam. In the end, my contractor did another box-up for me to cover up otherwise can see veli clearly from the top beam dat the whole glass door is sek-gek....
