I been looking for a MJ table at giant, carrefour n even neighborhood furniture shops but they say, nowadays to avoid noise, they oni produce those type with green color mesh on top. The best I saw was those with green color velvet like casino type. But dont haf those normal tabletop material one le.....help help.... Any recommendations of shop that sell good quality MJ sets oso? When I was doin my reno, I wantd to put a bathtub in the living rm balcony, kena by hubby, hehe Pls pardon us Kajua, we r jus having fun fantasizing abt ur layout n what we can do wif it....hehehe, guess 1 of the most fun part of reno is the initial planning. After dat, choosing furniture n accessories, not so fun wan...cuz alota walking abt n headache n paying. Planning = fantasizing = freeplay = dont need to pay yet = happiness.

Hi Kajua..... Its lovely dat ur kitchen seem to have 3 big window panes to look out to, I wld love to be able to look at scenery while I cook.... !! But ur stove hor, might be abit harzardous in the longrun, looks abit accident-prone..... For example, after u cook food, how ru going to pour it out of the frying pan since there doesnt seem to be space at all next to it.....imagine u be carrying a steaming hot frying pan ard to ur workstation. If got kids, veli dangerous leh.....mabbe u cld do a pull-up flap or smething for ur small workstation? Just a suggestion....lovely 3D drawings...

Harlow all! Havent been updating this blog as we hafnt done much decor to our house since moving in Sep 07. We had our AD on 21-dec and a short HK trip thereafter. Hence, posting some stuff we did/bght for our house during that time..... Hope to do more in the next 3 weeks before CNY Some pictures post...... As we had a party on X'mas, had to solve the seating problem of hafing 20pax in the hse at 1 go. Hence, went to ikea for solutions....& this was what we found, 1 of their new pdts, px abt $70+. Bght 2 for my dining table so it went frm 4-seater to 6-seater... The photo-wall which I had wantd to set up for the longest time....finally got hubby BrownMse to drill the holes in n hang up all the pictures 1 day before our wedding. Pictures of our family n frens, mostly taken on our ROM earlier. Foto-frames bght frm Taka-umbra sale n ikea....(ikea fotoframes nt very gd though). Well, the concept is there though it dint come out 100% frm what I envisioned. Will be working hard to enlarge it, n be buying bigger fotoframes of different textures.... Decor to our doors for our wedding...got all the Xi-stickers frm the shop which sells Jia-Zhuang (traditional dory shop). I personally think their artwork is fantastic...dunno how they cut wan....cool... Cute little orange bear for a festive touch, tied them to my glassdoor for studyroom. Finally got my wine-rack out in time for Xmas eve party.... Bght it like for 1 yr oredi n its been living in the box it came in.....poor thing. Frm Barang barang sale....nw put on top of sound system in living rm. Am trying to find a better plc as I find it too hot for wine (next to window). Last picture....beanbag frm Anthropology. A gift frm Bro-in-law (hubby's brudder). Matches the brown color carpet n its super comfy.....

Chup 1 leg here.....even though I dont use Eubiq...but I saw a news article in the papers recently, thk they're moving into equiping hotels with Eubiq....cant rem isit spore.... So hence, their pdts shd be gd lah....u guys using Eubiq are ahead of our times..... Skali, in future, Eubiq can b found at all hotels.....

Hihi, Can I join in the fun too to give suggestions? Ur layout is very special....hafnt seen before... Mabbe u can consider tearing dwn storerm n building bottom cabinets for both sides? (meaning storerm side n oppo storerm side). So visually, it wld make ur walkway wider n let more light thrgh to connect ur kitchen to ur living/dining area. At the same time, u oso wld haf storage space for pots n pans or jus stuff la.... And since ur planning to haf an island kitchen, it wld be cool to be able to see clearly ur kitchen island frm the living area....

My whole thing came out 2.7K but I did alota stuff (all double tracks n full length, full width), n I did choose sme materials dat were mre exp, my total quote oso included my kitchen blinds & string curtains for foyer n passageway... Ur floorplan shows alota windows... u even haf L-shape windows for ur 2 bedrms, so cool...majiam like condo! Agree with h4happy dat ur quote prolly shd be 1K+ oni, n u oni do 1 set of curtain per room, mabbe even below 1K can get....no worries...
