HIhi All!! Thank u storeberry n kris! Managed to go Jln Besar tdy Apart frm gog to SSC (in a veli blur state) 2 mths back, dis is kinda our 1st trip to compare tam-puis n basins n rain-showers.... Conclusion after dis 1st expedition: Hoe Kee---wah, e salesman can rattle off non-stop man! Guess he was tryg to help us 2 blur-lookin fellows! Found a technogas hob for abt 600+. It has a vertical chimney n flat suction panel. suction power nt bad, 760. The chio-looking ones was so exp! $1500!!! They also had a wide range of gas knob (mostly technogas). Din like the knobs on e panels le... Saw a Fijioh wan (black color) w 3 cooker, $400. But salesman sd FJO is made in Taiwan.. Any advice? *scratch head* Poh Joo--yah, there was dis veli fierce uncle there n their wares r oso nt displayd attractively. But saw 2 kitchen sink dat I like (both abt $200). Along e way, Brownmse complaind I too fussy cuz I keep lookg for 1-sink kinda kitchen basin (like e old HDB kind)..... Adamas---V limitd wares Nanwah---We popped in I thk, alng with the other shops along e way....even went into TOTO shp to satisfy Brownmse desire to own a tam-pui (toilet bowl) dat can play music n blow air as he sh*t.... Solution---Wld prolly gog to Hoe Kee to buy bah....seems most reliable....

Harlow Jaimegal, cant help but response to ur posting here... Wah, sounds like a reali bad joke frm ur FSM.... how can haf pink, blue n green together in 1 room???? My heart goes out to u.... Just wanna shr the following experience: We oso hired a FSM for hse even though we're not very the pantang type (in fact, we nt gonna haf altar at hme wan).... Found out frm sme uncles who do research fengshui dat there r many types of FSM (sme is simple modern type), sme is more decor-type (must have fan, gourd, toad figurine etc).... Frm our understandg, according to the fengshui-gua of u n ur hubby, they will come up with a color scheme (mabbe 4-5 colors), den u guys can follow easily... Fengshui is meant to coordinate ur hme so dat the ppl staying inside feels comfortable... If u dun feel comfortable, den it defeats e purpose, mabbe can ask ur FSM to propose 1 best color? Our design ideas were oso chgd after our FSM commentd we cant use black color (no mre orh-orh tiles for my hse, sobs ).....but most of his proposals were quite believeable. Eg, he proposed a solid wall backg for our studyrm (which is common in fengshui theory).... SCV channel 52 smetimes got this fengshui show (Taiwanese), quite gd for picking up basic tips... If ur nt comfortable, mabbe can get another FSM for ur hse? Good FSM dont necessarily charge exp oso....I paid FSM <$500 for a EA unit.... Like see doctor oso, if unsure, always get a 2nd opinion !!

Dear All, Im back!!!!! (Brown-mse too!!) Just had our ROM last weekend (17th Mar 07).... During those 1 mth, forgot abt my hse completely..... Sad to say, since we booked the hse in Jun 06, got the keys in Sep 06..till nw, we oni been to our hse 3 TIMES!!!! So therefore, we're gonna start work this weekend n target to move in by Jun 07!!!! Greycat & Brownmse been very lazy!! For a start, Greycat will attempt to learn to use Google sketch at hme (cuz office canot dwnload) Then, Greycat has created a recci-list for this week. We're gonna cheong these places: 1) Asia Excel (IMM) 2) Hoe Kee (Will someone pls tell me the address?) 3) Poh Joo (Jalan Besar) 4) Adamas (seems its near PJ) 5) Grohe outlet @ Parkmall 6) Sim Siang Choon (Been there but heard its quite exp) **Pls do let me noe if I've missed out any good lobang places!!! Target--To figure out what we need for the toilet (tampui, basin, showerheads, kitchen sinks, taps) n get the measurements for our contractor.
