At least u hafnt started finding (or so I hope) little pieces of notes everywer, all stating "100pieces of bear-pelt" or "200 pairs of bat-eyes" or "300 pieces of ......".... My hubby used to leave such little pieces of notes on my computer desk after he use it for wow....sometimes, my neighbor comes by to borrow my computer to use internet, ppl start thinking Im illegal hunter neh.... **I soon-pah I didnt kill the real bear!!!** Why dont u join him to play WOW? Its actually quite fun... Oreo super duper cute!!!

Harlow mist....I thk I got this light ur toking abt.... Got it for a few yrs liao, in my rm in my mom's place....never reali liked it cuz frosted panel nt bright enuff but it took so very long to fix up so din bother to change.... Mine neber break though....could it be due to reason u put in toilet? (Trying to thk of scientific reason here like CSI )...So when u switch on, it created static change and the sudden pressure change caused the clip to break n ur glass to drop off.... Still....very dangerous....better dun get lights with clips holding on oni....mabbe I shd go change my light too...

Couldnt resist a quick update before I leave for KL tonite......becuz there r mre exciting updates again tdy! **Drums roll**.....Becuz there is lights!! My electrician has finally got dwn to doing sme real work n installed the lights AND switches....(becuz last rd he oni installd the light W/O switches...) All these picures taken at nite so we cld test how bright our lightings reali are.... Myliving and dining area are made of downlights (day-light) + warm decor lights... Surprising, when only the warm lights r switched on, it was bright enuff!! that is oni the "canal" + dining light...as shown in pictures below....I shall let my pics do the talking.. My LONGKANG.... all the way to window The other end of the LONGKANG (it begins smewer near my main door) Anyways, the highlight of this picture is my globe-globe!! That's my fav light! Been bio-ing since I 1st started my lights shopping but cldnt find a spot to put it. Wantd to put it in the scvs balcony but den we created a foyer area near entrance. Due to height constraint, I dint buy a chandelier n abt 13 of the rm will be taken by wardrobe + curtains in future... Closer up...but lights switched on Even closer up.....can see the bulbs? My HUGE storage heater in common toilet....well its huge n ugly, but oso bcuz of its location, I dint need to put alot of pipings in my kitchen, plus I get to have "concealed" showersystem in mr MBR toilet becuz they r back to back.... $138 shower set frm HoeKee (minus mixer)...gd buy! The HDB contractors hor mostly do slipshod work becuz we r not the ones paying...its hdb n they oredi haf hdb contracts oredi I bet.....smetimes I oso wonder hw hdb chooses their contractors..... Haf to threaten to complain them to hdb wan!....Got 1 time I scold this "clerk auntie" frm hdb contractor company becuz she made me wait 2 hrs for her blangah to come, then when I ask to speak to her boss, she say her boss overseas...in the end, bo pian oso, complain to hdb TO lor.....see my earlier pages

Sigh....yah lor.....I oso read in other blogs of forummers dat got a lot of misalignment on windows then cannot close properly rite?....compared to dat, I thk door not so bad liao.... After I paint liao, I oso got sme walls I regret not plastering n mine is new hse somemre...most of it is the toilets entrance n kitchen entrance where the HDB contractors did retiling for me n spoil the walls.... the hdb contractors work reali slipshod lor...grrrr.....

*nod nod*, it is definitely a big problem drilling into those HDB tiles....when my plumber drilled into my newly tiled toilet, same thing happen too....the tiles are crack n we all busy looking for replacement nw..... sigh... Ur crack tiles in kitchen? If abit n can cover by kitchen cabinet, den mabbe can leave it becuz it will b hard just to replace sme tiles bah (haf to take out)..if its obvious n u wan to change hor, u better start chasing the HDB contractor/TO nw so they can give u the spare tiles.....

Soon, it will be the "adjustment phase" where u actually explain ideas n concepts to ur hubby in a summary form so he can understand better, faster and u will know what's the lagtime our boys need for absorption.... After discussion, hubby n me thinks it shd be a problem caused by HDB alignment. Even though our floortiles are done such that it is parallel level, but the overhead beams are not.. Apparently, each individual door has a different height n alignment. As shown in my previous page, my studyrm glassdoor displayed a very big mis-alignment oredi....thk that might haf been the problem as this mysterious wall is just next to it oni.....

32inch TV mounted in MBR....woah, quite thick leh...dunno if my curtains can cover it properly or not.... Workers oso installed the 2 new doors for MBR n BB-rm....n dats when we discovered a big problem tdy....the aircon! The door will hit the aircon.....sigh In the end, calld Hongtar to come n change the aircon to higher position...so angry still haf to pay $90 for addtnal charges.... Lastly, the new handles for my studyrm glass doors....it was H-shape handles previously...pls refer to prev pictures.....we did mentioned abt choosing this type of handles to our contractor b4. But when the H-shape handles were put on initially, we thot they looked quite nice n stuck to them. Even told contractor that we dint wan to change this morning. n mysteriously, they were changed this afternoon when BrownMse went for lunchbreak probably....I reali believe my contractor has elves working for him...the work smetimes get done mysteriously wan...... Anyways, this new handle seems mre safe (esp with little kids in future) so I'll stick to this now bah.....

Today, BrownMse was station there whole day to wait for our sofa, TV console n dining table frm Evovliving, and our Tvs. That's, it, 2 deliveries oni n yet he oni took 12 pictures.....that's rite...therefore, ....! Some disapointment frm Evov...our dining table (the marble one) was cracked at the side n BrownMse oni discover after the delivery-guy left. So immediately, he calld Evov n the girl actually asked us how come we dint reject the table?!?! In the end, we talkd to our salesperson n he is currently looking for stock rite nw....sigh... Thank u all for ur well wishes!! Technically speaking, all stuff shd be in by tdy liao.....Re-grouting is going on right now as BrownMse supervise the blangah as we talk..... Apple--Do go down to see see look look....we din expect sme stuff there to b much mre reasonably priced than the copies outside... Jamez---I bought the orh orh table frm Cellini...thk abt $700+ if Im nt wrong, we din take the dining chairs but we took a coffee table in the same design, so in all, we paid abt 1K to cellini... Junkay---Hihi...no probs... here's my answer: Yup, the WIW is in laminate, same as other rms (oni MBR is homo tiles). Reason being MBR has a toilet n my hubby will drip water like a little kid after his bath. Therefore, cannot have the MBR in laminate for us, if laminate, sure "liao" after 1 week.... Most WIW is in laminate cuz ur wardrobe is "wooden laminate" so match floor bah.... For me, I dun mind walking to WIW rm to change la, the WIW is like a cozy corner oso. If u do housework regularly, after u wash clothes n dry clothes liao hor, there is a lagtime (for ironing n folding to be done) b4 ur clothes appear in ur wardrobe...ehehhe Housewives like me wld need a corner to put all these dry clothes for sorting, gona haf a small sofa in the WIW rm too Lastly, u might oso wan to consider the ventilation issue. If ur wardrobe (in laminate) is v near ur toilet, there might b the problem of things turning mouldy faster (depending on ur ventilation). I have a fren who put her wardrobe rite outside her toilet but she configured her toilet such dat the shower is rite inside n the part outside (near toilet door) is a dry-toilet (basin oni)... Oh yah, n we dint tear dwn whole wall to merge the 2 rms for fengshui reasons...so it's still 2 distinct rooms (there's gona b a wooden sliding door there....

Heehee, actualli no.....the items we bght were the affordable ones....n we stuck to our "budget-range" lah The dining lamp is actualli cheaper than most chandelier lights... *nod nod* glass doors exp part of quotation ....but need aircon so we decided to put glassdoor....*heartpain* To all new home-owners of EA, there's actualli another option==curtains!! Heard frm the curtain shops at Geylang Serai there, got curtain materials can block out air-con type, v gd to use as divider.....sigh, I oni knew abt dat last wk.... Well, if u haf to wait 8 hrs in 1 empty hse for 5 deliveries, armed oni wif camera, u wld do e same too....hahaha Luckily, I dint haf to turn air-traffic controller becuz all came abt half hr after 1 another.....after I waited inside for like 2-3 hrs....grrrr.... Some quick updates for the blog...... Just spent a super-tiring day cleaning the hse....a gd 5 hrs as BrownMse n me scrubed our floors n cleaned our windows n laminates. Unfortunately, our contractor oni did his 1st round of chemical wash. As we washed, we discovered the grouting was still no good...he has to do re-grouting for us.....all black black still, see oredi, my mood oso black And tomorrow (Monday) + Tuesday....our major furniatures are all coming!! Really dunno what to do manz....we must be the only ppl who moves the fridge in b4 the carpentry is up.... Think I will be ma-jiam like air-traffic controller tomorow (or shd I say tdy since its after midnite liao...sobs). Some picture updates...will post mre on Monday n Tuesday night.... The dining light (we got it in crystal-clear color) Dining chairs (in light yellow)...took me a long time to decide, finally decided on this one becuz its super comfy. Chose light yellow for a contrast as my living/dining area is all whitish/grey... And along with those, we bought 2 of these stools, they were on sale Chose a yellow fat 1 and a red thin 1..... Changed our switches totally as HDB switches always v hard to use n our hse's been ard for 6 yrs oredi.... My new elec sockets n Clipsal switches (in white w blue LED lights).... Reason for Clipsal switches.....I got cheated!! not by electrician or shop wor...but by my own hubby!.....Wantd to buy big rocker switch den he say got led light switch, w/o telling moi its mre exp..... Hee, I cut my bunny's nails too n try to comb his fur when I can la....he currently adopted/fostered to my mom who has grown very attached to him... but mine hor, need a full-groom almost every 1-2 mths, he veli long fur, majiam like dog wan....tried to train him but very notti....sigh
