  3. srry such a delayed reply. i've been so busy with the reno and packing.. zin tired le @adidaem - thanks for great ideas! @may - hehe thanks! meeting andrew next 2 weeks for 3d drawing will post the final drawings soon.
  4. @May --- thanks! the tic tac door will look like this Study room.. not going to have glass wall instead we opt for glass panel door.. something like this as for kitchen, i still don't know how to pull it together, if i hack away the wall between kitchen and service balcony then my cabinet will look odd with the covered pipes. if i do not remove the wall my kitchen will look dark and gloomy but the pipes are well hidden
  5. my sentiment exactly! hmm gotta cover it up because of the ugly pipes
  6. Here is rough sketch of our current kitchen layout.. feel free to comment!
  7. Yep if i extend the storeroom then those areas cannot be hacked - either i opt for the current storeroom + half walls with glass on the current kitchen opening or extended storeroom (cabinet with mirrors, tic-tac type) Yesss near IMM
  8. yep will have a small window towards the service balcony. hehe didnt know that
  9. Cant have open concept coz of the structure wall Yeah will hack away the wall between kitchen and service balcony and change all the windows. currently the windows are dark tinted probably that's the cause
  10. thanks! yeah its easy to plan & design except the kitchen/dining area too dark and stuffy nope its ea @ west side, jurong east.. it's pretty new coming 13 years old
  11. I love atomi jp! pretty and unique stuff!!
  12. @whisper: no hacking either remain as it is or extend - to create a consistent layout @strikingreality: have to shift the kitchen door because the current loc too dark (ying) and stuffy. my intention is to bring in natural light into kitchen. xx stress xx with lights on
  13. tadaaa my first draft.. feel free to comment it's a pretty straightforward layout. main concern - to bring in natural light into dining/living and kitchen should i hack away the store room or extend? hmm
  14. Thanks steelze!! Message well received I was very excited to start planning, but now the sourcing process is making it stressful!
  15. great post!!! me tooo.. was thinking to install digital lock hehe reviewsss? also can you pm me yr contractor details? cheers!
  16. contractor or id - still undecided! OR perhaps a contractor?? since we've our own concept ") the house is in pretty good condition (other than being dated). ugly pipes & cornices, toilet and kitchen look kind of dark and no direct sunlight dislikes the fooring.. too dark
  17. @steelze & chronograph - thanks for your feedback! i thought so too it's more expensive compared to the others id/reno. I've been both anticipating and dreading - worried about making the wrong choice, negative comments, etc. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Do you think I'm being over dramatic?
  18. hi can tell me more bout Titan Creative, tony.. how's his reno stuff? good? can email me the photo?
