RUBBISH CHUTE & MANHOLE This is the second last step to conceal the rubbish chute. Also waiting for the granite top. This also acts storage area for our cleaning agents and my plants. (I hope they don't die on me...)

KITCHEN CABINETS We are now waiting for the arrival of the granite counter top & backsplash. To keep the cost low we decided to use laminate instead of granite for the 5 foot dry area. Nothing fancy but just a normal drawers and casement doors. 5 ft cabinets (Left) Only for electric appliances, kitchen utensils & dried stuff. 11 ft cabinets (Right) Purely for our hood, hob, kitchen basin tap, pots and pans. No top hang cabinets as we are really afraid of GREASE deposit.

Songz. You are right. Pure solar energy only. However you can change to a new battery if require.

SOLVINDEN Solar-Powered Buoy Lamp by Johanna Jelinek A gadget from my wife. She told me this is the last white one in IKEA Singapore. Now we can illuminate the kitchen path without turning on the light. Recharging time is 9-12 hours in sunlight, but over 12 hours on a cloudy day. When the battery is fully charged, the product will give full light for approx. 12 hours. Auto turn on when is dark. (COOL!)

Love your granite. What is it call? May I ask what is the cost per foot?

DOOR OUTDOOR What a BIG mismatch. Wondering when will HDB refurbish my estate. We left the outdoor stairways undone so we can do some DIY.

Dear Rasp Well. This is risk we are willing to take. (I will try to avoid HDB. They can alway go in from my neighbour unit.) We did a complete conceal using 'Drywall'. I can't bear looking at the rubbish chute gate everyday. You have the other option by building over a cabinet.

DOORS Aluminium Square Rod Window Grilles & Door Grilles (Grey Powder Coating) Maintenance Free & 100% Rust Proof - Yes 100% Solid Aluminium material - Yes Took me a while to select the colour of the door. (Should I have a separate colour for the main door? Will the colour crash with my floor? Will it match with my dinning table and chairs... So many questions....) Store room & Master bedroom

LOL... Well.. We have to swing open the glass towards the toilet bowl during shower. This is the best layout considering the size of the bathroom and existing toilet bowl location/direction. (My intention is to prevent wetting my toilet paper roll and seat. I don't like the smell of a old shower curtain.) No idea on the alum corners. Was arranged by my contractor.

Some hand painted China I brought from VN. They should look lovely for my dessert. The cup will be for my tooth brush.

MASTER BATHROOM GLASS DOOR Why frosted glass door. 1. Translucent. Allow some light through. Don't have to on light during the day. 2. Translucent. Don't make my bathroom feel TIGHT. The door actually looks light and blend in the wall. 3. Glass easy to clean. (My old PB & Bi Fold doors look gross. The tracks are all filled with dirt.) 4. No more track jam. (Wet + Time = Rust = Jam. Even when you apply DW40) 5. No more rust. We are using stainless steel hinges & screws. Even when they are more expensive is worth every cents. (IMHO)

POCKET SILDING GLASS DOORS These are the pair of frosted glass doors between my kitchen and hall. Mainly for retaining the AC in the hall. Yet with the fexibiity to open up , extend the space from the hall to the kitchen. We are going to fill up the left and right of the kitchen with a 11 & 5 ft kitchen cabinets. View from the kitchen

Dear Sharon Can you please post some close up pictures of your HERF edge against the wall (Width side of the plank against the wall.) Was it kept tight against the wall? or you see 3mm gap? Was the gap parallel again the wall? Mine was looking like below. 50% are all looking like that. Even though I have pasted my walls. Did the gap expand after your installation? I like to see the workmanship of goodrich. I brought mine from Evorich direct with their installation. I have requested Evorich rectify this weekend. Hopefully no lame excuse from Evorich..
