We searched for ID for almost 2 month, submitted my floor plan to many ID firms. very busy explaining our requirement over and over again. All ID that meet me interviewed me on "what theme you like, my budget, and others BS stuff, some brag that they only do bungalow and I am the lucky few that meet him, and one lady ID that keep pushing to sell her kitchen set promo to me and I am like what the f. with you are you ID or kompor (stove) salesgal ? ... After meeting IDs for at least 10 - 15 companies but yet unable to understand their capacity. I then try to interview them instead. There are few basic question that I think worth to check: 1. How long have you been ID (my judgment: this is important less than 3 years I think is green horn, 10 years most probably is the ID firm owner) 2. How many projects concurrently you are handling (my judgment: some ID take to many projects concurrently, they spread to thin and give no focus on my problems) 3. How many times you will visit your site.

Now got a moment to post more pics... so we continue 2nd floor master bathroom, don't mistaken by public bathroom nor prison and this is bedroom

potato, can check with you how much your id quote you for you staircase reno total? My id extra charge me 3.3k for the parque steps (15steps) include hacking n istallation of parque. since we want to retain the staircase railing and change the handle only to parque handle and just paint over the wrough iron railing, id quote me additional 1.9k which is i find very ex. any idea how come is so expensive? I end up cancel the parque handle, retain my wrought iron railing and just paint it over to white colour, additional 350 for the paint and painter. is it reasonable? Thx

Anybody know how much is the cost to just paint the stair case railing wrought iron railing? Any lobang for good and reasonable electrician???? Trying to nego from my ID electrician first, see how? But from the price list the ID give me everything is so expensive compare to all prices that I read in reno talk blog here before. Will try to ask for some discount if possible from my ID cos it will be easier if electrician from ID side anything wrong they will handle among themselves. If cant discount the price will be not much different from boyblunder electrian work that his ID quote, which is all EM owner here said is very expensive.

These are some photos, the original state of the house, look very funky... Start with 1st floor... same rule apply no liquor after 12 and no IC no liquor very mini living area... and the rubbish chute quite mega, huge, giant and about 5% of total balcony area almost like furniture already which purposely install to beautify the area (not really my type), even Santa Claus can climb through and come out from there 2nd floor pic coming soon... congrats on your reno progress and moving in soon. my headache time is coming. First tiling job is already have a complain to it. my tile apparently got a design of some pattern 3/4 flower and 1/4 line stripes. when they laid the tile some of the line stripes pattern is not in line(straight) with another tile. can you imagine? called shadow and she came to see but boss tiler explained to her and us that because of factory produce, some of the tile pattern will be different sizes that's why cannot be all straight in line. Cannot accept this excuse man, do not tell me if everybody choose this tile then they will have same problem??? My hubby keep complaining to me lo. He is such perfectionist, everything have to be perfect, but since we are quite nice ppl we never really scold and complain harshly. Just talk nicely ask them to change and try to find the tile that is come with same size pattern. i feel like the tiler is not proffesional at all. you should know that this kind of work is really not acceptable man. But the tiler is only a worker the boss tiler should monitor that. Lucky only one toilet have that kind of design, if all big headache man. ID so far so good still accomodate with the request but 3D design seem so slow. Have not seen all the 3D till now when the reno work is already started, but can understand is a peak period now, seems drawing dept very very busyyy. Hope the rest will be a smooth journey for us.

hi soichiro, can pm me your electrician. plan to rewiring the whole house. my id quote me almost 3k just for the electrical work/point that is associated with his design. we have quite a lot of false ceiling and L box ceiling design, tv wall feature in living and mbr. According to him could cost about 6-7k to rewire the whole em. **** ex lo. any advice? thx

Hi All, I am thinking of creating wall partition between bed and window, basically I would like to have simple partition that can mount TV between BED and Window in my master bedroom. The partition should be made of partially glass so that it will no block the natural light to the room. Can please kindly post the 3d or pictures. Thanks

Hi, I do not think so. Most of the ID that quote me still charge the GST . Only a few of them never put GST in their total quotation so is that mean they don't charge GST at all. Some already put in the GST in the total quotation. I use i compare in renotalk to get quotation from fews ID. Quite a few of them reply and we shortlisted down to 2 ID company. Anybody heard or use their service before? Leef Deco or My design. Please help here for advise thx
