thanks alex, i also like the sleeker design of the hitachi better. how about pic wise and sound? did you compare side by side before buying?

dear all, i am torn between these two 42 inch plasma - panasonic pv70 and hitachi 9500TA i like the bezel of the hitachi but i have read that someone had some problems with theirs - shaking picture or something like that. the hitachi is made in japan, the pv70 made in singapore. i have look at them side by side. they look almost the same but i give the pv70 a better rating in terms of PQ. sound i havent compare. i am sure some of you have cross this road before and can offer me your opinion and suggestions. thank you all in advance kamsiah.....
