  1. Hello, as the topic title; do any of you gurus know any reliable and good painters to recommend? Thanks in advance!
  2. Did you ended up waiting for it, or decide to proceed without the 3D drawings?
  3. Hello fellow renovation gurus! Just to check with you guys, have anyone encountered the issue of an ID from SDS who requires 3 weeks to draw up a 3D drawing? I was wondering if it is due to the busy schedule (CNY approaching) as it seems a bit weird to take that long. Have anyone encountered this before/facing this issue right now?
  4. Hi is there anybody who has Ah Wei's contact number? Please PM me if you have, thank you!
  5. Hello guys! I just read through the thread and it seems like almost everybody have good comments for Summit & I'm quite inclined to have them do some renovation work for my new house. I was wondering if: 1) They do work such as kitchen cabinet, installation of the stoves, sink (& the pipes); basically the entire kitchen area, and also install "glass partition" in bathrooms (to separate the shower area from the toilet bowl)? 2) What is the estimated cost of doing such work? 3) As I'm new to all these renovation work; I don't really know how the payment actually works. Is there such thing as by installments or what is the "normal" method of payment? Thanks everyone for their input!
  6. I am actually intending of going for a cozy feel within my bedroom, and was thinking of using creamy white for the ceiling, and maybe some dark chocolate/coffee colour for the walls. But the window area is seriously a headache because on the right side of the window, there is a part there is coming out (the L shape of the bay window), yet on the left side of the window, it connects to the entire left wall, and the top part of the window area also connects to the left wall. So wouldn't it be weird if I were to paint the bay window "seat" a different colour from the wall on the left?
  7. Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any decent contractors around that are able to do the kitchen area (such as the piping, the stoves, cabinets) and also the bathroom to install the glass "partition" to separate from the shower and the toilet bowl area? It doesn't have to be those high end contractors, just reliable ones that are not very pricy will do. Any recommendations?
  8. Hi everyone! I need your advice on how to paint this as shown in the picture? Would you paint the entire window area the same colour, then the entire wall on the left another colour? Because I noticed that the part above the window frame (I don't know what you call that) is actually 'connected' to the wall on the left; so I was wondering if it would be weird if it is painted in two different colours? Your advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  9. Wouldn't PVC deteriorate as well? As for Fabric, most people says that it is very hard to maintain. So its really hard to decide between either of them.
  10. Then if I were to get a white PU finish, would it turn yellowish easy? Or should I get a dark coloured finish?
  11. Oh my, what happened? I am now contemplating to get bedframes from them or Hommage! :\
  12. Hi forgotten! I don't have kids yet! I'm still pretty young, just that I'm moving into a new house with my own room, Haha. I was actually thinking of getting a black velvet fabric for the bed frame. Bed bugs would even affect platform bed frames? I thought its in the mattresses itself?
  13. Hello people! My question is as stated in the topic title; what would be a better option as a platform bed frame, PU or Fabric finish? Hopefully some of you experts can guide me on what are the pros and cons to each? Thank you in advance! Edit: If I were to get a PU white platform bed frame, would it turn yellowish easily? I'm only considering between black and white colour for either material.
  14. @tyming: Haha okay thanks! I should be getting mattress from them too! @@11Nov: Oh my, I didn't know its that bad! Thanks for the heads up man!
