  5. and also, just fyi if you haven't already know, i think they have a refund policy where you can reject the furnitures if you discovered that it doesnt go well/fit nicely with your house of other furnitures, and you can also refund the mattress if you changed your mind about it. something like that. check out their website
  6. I was once skeptical of their furnitures becoz of old people always saying ikea stuff wont last. now that i have my own home and family, nearly half of the furnitures in our house are from ikea and we are planning to get more in the near future. well, u gotta choose properly. some of their products are of low quality and some are cheap but sturdy and good. like all places/shops, nothing is always good. we, as consumers, have to choose wisely. Cheers and have fun shopping for your next furniture!
  7. hi all check out my blog link below on my house reno.... its 5-rm and i did laminated flooring for my living room and 3 bedrooms. check out under the "Wood" Works tab.theres pictures of the floor. Btw mine is from supreme. workmanship is great. was there to see the guy fix them. I hope that helps. Cheers!
  8. would love to see threads on plant care here coz panning to keep indoor plants for my coming new house!
  9. Hi All, was just wondering if anyone is using the ikea kitchen sink? They are cheap as compared to the normal average kitchen sinks.... so anyone? Quality wise? compatible with normal worktops? Thanks!
  10. Hi all, did a search on them here and found this thread. We bought a few pieces of furnitures from them during their Kaki Bukit Branch Opening Sale. Some prices slashed about 50% if i'm not wrong. Neways,we love teak wood and the balinese effects it gives... and we happen to come across their sale when driving by after meeting our ID. So we ended up buying a 3-seater peanut chair(sofa), coffee table, side bench(side chair) and a couple of lighting fixtures.... total price was just above $300 inclusive of delivery. I think we got these at a steal... knowing their actual price. The staffs were super nice and excercised patience I might say. As for delivery, we're still in the middle of our house reno but they have since called us twice to fix a confirm a delivery date, had to tell them to delay and no problems on their side. They did follow-ups on us on time. (Reassuring knowing that things we paid for still exist... hehe) Will update our Blog on the conditions of the furnitures once we receive them. Cheers!
  11. Just to share, I heard its not good to keep rice for too long.... those black rice lice will grow and infest the whole rice supply... I encountered once too... now only use till finish then buy again.
  12. Count me in!!!! would love to learn more and share ideas! maybe we should have a blog where all DIY Projects can be shared with photos and vids. be reaalll cool!
  13. I think best might be those mahjong paper type? like those on ikea's lamps? it will turn yellowish soon after awhile... do try and keep it at least 4 inch or so away from the bulb... or else might just catch fire due to heat radiation even when not on bulb itself... better be safe than sorry. Can try go Art Friends at Bouna Vista MRT Station Basement shops. Creativity goes wild while you're in there Happy DIY!

sounds like a great idea! I ever tried pasting matt black sticker on the windows at my workplace's meeting room to block out the sun for our Projector. It just took us less than 30 mins to settle 3 windows. I'm sure it'll work the same for those tinted type of stickers. Stickers can be found at those car decal and bike decal shops. Though TS is selling wayyy cheaper! Neways, ways to do it is to first make sure you close the window TIGHTLY, then comes the soap water and tinted stickers Might be doing it for my new house when i move in
