Dreaming replied to hugobossy's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Very nice! The balance of dark and light color tone are so well done. Live up to the theme of Modern Balinese. Can't wait to see more! -
Love your kitchen! Your choice of wood laminate + black glass backsplash + white top. Nice! Curious to see how you put in your bed.. u have a platform? cos i see your side table quite high. We got the same mirror for our dinning as well. Cheap and big! Now waiting for our contractor to hang it up for us. You met any problem hanging this up?

Yea. I think many companies here are buy&sell kind. Singapore market is too small to build a local factory I guess. Within Sparico they have different versions of pole system too. Goes to show they are simply distributors as well.

Y do you have to worry about the shelving mechanism? Doesn't it come with your carpentry? Your sofa looks huge btw! Got such luxury space ah?
-
VERY NICE!! Love your choice of squarish tiles. Stands out so well! And your living looks really cosy with the floor laminate and clean white feature wall. Your ID has done a great job! Your place doesn't look ordinary. Great job!

No problemo. Renotalk main list don't show alot of old blogs. Google is the best way. I tried calling the ID for quotes last time and know this house cost about 70K to renovate. You are trying to find back this ID? Or you trying to buy this house? Arent you renovating a house now??

Modern Balinese Concept - interesting! Any 3D pic to share? -
This is done by Jeremy from Box ID Studio. One of the reference blog for us when we started designing our house. Try goggle "modern resort" on renotalk. Blog name should be something Yishun I think

Your bedframe looks good! Love your choice of laminate for the kitchen cabinet! Share more pic pls

Yea. He will bring all the barang Barang to your house. Thanks! Things are coming in slowly so not much progress. Study is considered furnished, we'll post up the pictures soon!

Congrats! Your house looks spacious!!

No lah! Only the 3 bedrooms. But if I can choose again, I would either choose parquet (which is more solid) or stick to tiles flooring. Laminate can't polish and they make those "crack crack" sound whenever we walk on it. Plus, some of the laminates have seriously POPPED up the last few days. Now we are waiting for the ppl from power decor to come and fix it. Sigh...

Wow! Even light switches are positioned the same! This is some serious copying man! Feel so sorry for you.

Hi Cookiez and Potatoes, The Eames lounge chair replica was from Lush-lush. Damage was $1533. I believe you can find a cheaper version at Winter (a shop at Eunos). I confirm you can find the original $10K plus Herman Miller version at Proof Living Ion Orchard.

Feel sorry for you to see all these fault. I can totally understand, cos our carpentry have quite alot of hipcup too. And it drags me to go to the house. But you must endure and make sure your contractor/ID rectify for you. Count ourselves bad luck. We just have to spend more energy and time than others to follow.

The white cabinet complements your cement wall so well! Nice!

Hey lamaray, Thanks for dropping by our blog. We got the 1.7m quartz table top and a 1.6m bench. The damage was $1.7K (bought during July GSS period). The engineered quartz is not Cellini House brand, but from Caesar stone. We did a post on Caesar stone counter top previously in this blog. I'm not sure about the dining table/bench, but the sofa with similar oak base was discontinued. We were told by their sales, as we were looking for a ottoman to match our Taj sofa. Hope this helps. prody p.s. just realized i was using my fiancee's account!

Yes! I managed to psycho Prody into getting the line console! Keep telling him its an investment. Loooong-term Investment! I saw Grafunkt carry Bludot as well. But Prody is not the least interested in getting another big designer piece considering we are already forking out so much for a TV console. haha. Nvrm lah.. as long as i get the TV console...

We bought our WC and long undermount basin (forgot the specific brand) from Asia Excel. Nothing wrong so far. But price is not those super cheap kind. For very basic stuff, you can try Genova or Chuan Heng. Good and cheap!
-
Hey! First of all, congrats on setting up your new blog! Finally gotten your keys ya! We got this exact same set for our master toilet. The difference is we only buy the shower head and not the bar or even the hose. We mix and match the rest from other no brand co.. But frankly, if you don't have water pressure, its really no use paying so much for a showerhead.

COOL! Your place looks to be interesting! Keep putting up more pictures!

Hi Can I know where to buy this? Or you simply buy one from any store and just drill it on the cabinets? We also have glass splashback for our kitchen and was wondering whether there is any alternative to this kind of rail since you can't drill holes onto the glass..

Black mirror should go well with walnut wood for your dinning table and chairs I guess. And since your dinning area looks dark, wana go for dark colors at your TV area as well to match? Cos it looks like your sofa, flooring and TV console is light in colors. Not intending to do a TV feature wall? like a wallpaper? Decal? or other decorations? It could bring out a talking point in your living room. And you have to be extra careful when they say they give you full-height mirrors. Because its usually quite difficult to get it into a lift, not to mention its a fragile item.
