if lighting is already provided for in the room, i will go for KDK.. because it has got a clean look and i believe it ought to be more reliable.. Remote controller provided as a standard and the remote certainly look and feel better in term of quality as compared to the "china made" feeling Fanco controller.. For me, i have got KDK fans masterbed room and living room which i have downlights.. look well and work well.. And I have no choice but to go for Fanco fans for the other two small room due to the lighting kit required..

OMG.. which light attachment did you bought? is it original Fanco or OEM? LED or normal energy saving light?

Wow.. 40w is good enough for any HDB room.. I assume the price is not including the installation right? How about the noise level at low speed during night, acceptable?

will u be airconditioning the hall? You will probably need two set of aircon for such a big house...

Haha.. the salesman is not totally right.. they just heard say heard say.. salesman wanted to push u inverter aircon that why saying this. In SG, no law is been implemented yet for R22 equipment usage.. That's to say, no news yet on when SG will ban R22 equipment. Even if the equipment is banned, the R22 gas will still be available for a long long time, for the usage of those R22 equipment around. (Unless government wanted to subsidize all replacement of aircon to new gas... ) So don't be worry. Follow your heart...

hi, if we take out one tube of the 2 tube type downlight, will the energy consumption be just one tube? without taking out the ballast of the one taken out..

Hi there, Does anyone know of any ceiling fan (for HDB) that has auto On+Off Switch function? Normal one is only auto-off function.

If it's no restriction, you can install bigger units.

Indeed it is a perfectly imperfect design.. especially the aircon ledge position.. But it does provide you alot of room for creative ideas.. Btw how big is the area?
