  1. Mace, Ask u hor... is it every house only got 1 chai wei? or is it every room/bedroom also got 1 chai wei? (meaning does the house have several chai wei places??) Do different fengshui schools identify different place for chai wei? My fsm say my chai wei in the living room.
  2. Hi Vibranze, No clear idea, but i do know that the difference between SC and SPR is a lot. Common sense will tell u that, if not all SC will KPKB liao lor! If you're not SC, I suggest you only look at lift level units (for potential LUP flats), as those units don't need to pay for LUP costs. That is why lift level units always come at a higher price than those without. If area has both IUP and LUP potential in future, it can be quite siong for PRs. Not to mention after IUP, might need to do minor reno to make good.. hmm... not sure.

  5. ya, it is irregular shaped.. the whole building like a curve like that. i really not sure which way the building suppose to face, to me, it should be the lift facing lor... logically lah. so if that is so, then the reading is what i had given SW210.

  8. mace, how to tell if tiles are lousy type? is it see by price of what? something to learn here, so during tile selection, i have to make sure we dun pick lousy tiles. :/
  9. actually whether u use ID or contractor, u still should go down to check things out during the various stages to ensure. getting an ID doesn't mean won't have any screw ups. i think if u get a main contractor, he can probably handle everything with his other sub cons. but u still have to check check check from time to time. no easy way outta this.
  10. your glass doors look lovely! i'm still contemplating on if having clear glass doors is a good idea. i've heard so many people actually having problems with their guests bumping and walking straight into these doors.. until they had to put up some kind of patterned stickers on them. really like your wood-like tiles too! hmm.. lets see if my budget allows for this 'luxury'.

  13. actually as a buyer, u have nothing much to gain, maybe a slightly lower selling price? but its probably not worth it imo. it is the seller that gains most, because they probably desperately need the cash. usually when sellers have these type of request, it raises a big RED flag, and one should be very careful. they must be owe hdb alot of arrears or worst owe ah long! yikes!
  14. hello... actually yeah, it can be quite confusing. but i think basic one is to get the compass reading right, then use 8mansions to see lor. well, this one should be quite easy n basic, read book should be able to understand. but there are many theories... the other 'schools' are more cheem. if really confused, best to get a fsm lor. haha..
  15. hi mace, my house facing is NE 55-60 degrees lor. i used an engineering compass to take this reading for the main door. this is not considered proper meh? then what is considered proper reading ah? pls enlighten me! yes, engaged a fsm liao.. coming to see my place. but juz tot i ask for some opinions here lor. hmm... what type of bazi cannot have fishtank at home? if i'm correct, i am of water element n hubby metal element. i think water should be ok for us? in fact, i think water should be good for based on our elements. but yeah, i will confirm again with the fsm. hi zirhk3355, thank you very much!

Ok... so here are the details... House facing NE 55-60 degrees. My questions... that need advising... 1) I need to place a fishtank of size 6ft by 2.5ft in the living room somewhere. I had chosen that location (the blue colour rectangle), can I place a fishtank there? If not where should I place it? 2) I have a small kitchen as there are lots of wasted space which can't really be used. I can't see how else to place the stove. Pls advise on that too if currently layout is really very detrimental. 3) After reading 8 mansions (though I understand that the analysis is brief), I believe both me and my hubby belong to the West Group, our house kua 2 and life gua 8. So.. is the flat good for us? Is master bedroom bed placement ok?? 4) According to 8 mansion, the master bedroom is located in a "bad sector". Should I use another room as the main room we sleep in? If yes, which room? Will the analysis be more accurate if using Flying Stars theory? (I tried to read up on this but really catch no ball ) 5) I will be using one of the rooms as a home office, and I spend more then 10hrs a day in that room, studying and working. I need this room to be most ideal for me (lady of the house). I have chosen the 1st common room closest to the living room. Is this ideal?

Living / Dinning 01) Construct living hall , dinning hall , 3 bedroom and kitchen 600mm x 600mm homogenous polish tiles complete with skirting.( Per sq ft $3.80/=) $8,550.00 $8550 / $3.80 = 2250 sq ft (which is equal to 209 sqm!) your whole hse is only 110 sqm (1184 sq ft) lehhh!!!! even if include labour for laying tiles also should not be this price. which contractor huh? can PM me? thank you very much.
  21. hi, anyone did ventilation fan for their toilet? which brand did u use? i only know of KDK. are there any other good brands to consider? if i use KDK, which model should i go for? was advised that i also have to change my windows if i want to install ventilation fan. current window is the standard hdb type.
  22. omg, if its me i think i will get really upset too. moreover u said u paid higher then mkt price. granite tops not cheap, ya try to get as much discount as possible. i won't take less then 50%. mind sharing wif me which ID or contractor this is? so scared i pick one lousy one like this.
