Took the afternoon off today to have a look at our flat. What greeted me on the ground floor was that an area was cordoned off with tape... Looking up towards our flat we noticed that window works have begun...

Glad to know a fellow Renotalk member who engaged WaWe too! Btw...our balcony is not timber...hahaa. It looks like it but its actually tiles. We purposely chose something that looked like timber decking! So Sugar...where's your place?

Went down to Balestier to purchase the lights for our place. We didn't spend too much too time there... In the end we selected the following: No prizes for guessing where we got them from! Haha...

Tiling is on schedule...left mainly the skirting and border areas...some of it has started... The master bedroom has finished its floor tiling... Common bathroom tiling done up too!

My balcony with the timber-looking tiles are up! Don't they look like wooden flooring?? Common rooms and living area are also done up... Now awaiting for my master bedroom to be ready..progressing real well... :good:

Wow! Another one with a similar layout! Is yours going to be a major overhaul? I know the feeling when searching for IDs...some quotes can make you faint!

The tilers have continued to press on and are now doing the bedroom flooring! Master Bedroom According to Wee Kuang, the tiling should all be done by this weekend....then maybe the transformation may become faster?? Hahaha

Further to the "wet areas", the tilers have progressed to the living and dining areas! Yeah!....awaiting the magical transformation! Also, the new entrance to my master bedroom is up!!

More updates...floor tiling has begun and kerbs have been constructed!!

Haha! I have been following yours too! Yep....My MBR will be similar to yours as we will be combining both the store and the "old" MBR except that you are keeping the existing entrance while mine will be from the "old" store entrance... Photos?? Haha....have been depending on my ID to "update" me with photos....haven't had much time to go down myself. Really itching to....hahaa
