False ceiling works have started after the installation of the aircons! Guess that means lights will come in soon The partition for my master bedroom has also been started...

Yep! Its aircon installation time! After they installed the aircon they helped to cover up the aircons as we told them we will be doing more ceiling works and painting shortly which I thought was quite nice of them... Wanted to post a picture of Wee Kuang hard at work but he told me he's a bit camera shy...

Decided to pop down to our flat today. See what greeted me at my block??

Well my ceiling had some kind of plaster design / wallpaper so it was scrapped off. Furthermore I am hacking off wall tiles from my balcony but am just replacing with paint finish - I definitely can't leave them exposed after hacking right? Haha.

Just updating on the other purchases from Hommage... Our coffee table (think its their top seller since Eric can write down the model without looking at the catalogue ): And our sofa! Will be taking a dark brown/mocha kind of colour....not the one shown

Anyone has any suggestions on how to choose the colours for the rooms? Should they be distinctly different so as to differentiate the rooms? Or should they be similar in colour so as to associate them with each other? Also, how best to paint the colours? Have a colour all round? Or have a feature wall colour? :dunno:

Went to Hommage to purchase our furniture too! Firstly we got ourselves our dining set! The table with the silver legs and black top: The chairs will be replaced with these (the ones in black):

Met up with Wee Kuang and the electrician uncle to discuss the placement of the lights and electrical fittings. Quite a good discussion....we were more or less able to tie up the plans for the various items Quite a funny thing happened when we were discussing - one of the resident staying at my block (not my immediate neighbours) came and asked to see whether he was interested in doing a minor job for them. Can I get a discount for my "referral"?? After that...its time for us to do "homework" - select paint colours and laminates! So many choices! what to choose!

I certainly hope so! Went to place a deposit for the clothes rack with EzziLiving too!
