You can actually sue the 'crazy lady' if you suffered a loss in your current sale. The amount you can claim will be difference in previous sale price against current sale price if there is a loss. Must make her pay. As for mental stress, hard to quantify but still able to claim.

Hi matrix0405, My wood works contractor is an old friend of my colleagues. He did for a lot of my colleagues. He told me not to worry about money which is the least concern. Haha. I trust him. He quotes according to the laminates I choose and my budget. Haha.

have to see how many points u wan, how many lights u wan, how many downlights u wan, how many SCV points u wan, etc... u have to ask urself what u wan first... then call the electricians and ask them...

Now is the tiling... went up my new house and saw the tiler doing the work... he is attentive to details and takes his time to slowly do the tiling... i understand from friends that tiling can't be rushed or else the workmanship will not be good... taking his times to ensure good workmanship... i can wait... i want good workmanship... haha... never rush them or else rushed jobs will not be good jobs...

met with alex today at my new house and had a good chat with him... it is the chemistry... also intro one friend to him but this friend only wanted to do window grills for his kitchen windows... small project... alex is willing to do for him... haha... he said he will do all businesses, big or small... i am not so hardcore la... just wanna save some money for other things... although i can afford the quotations by main contractors but i will be left with very little money for air-con, lightings and bathroom accessories... but now i can afford everything with my tiny budget...

i asked for quotes from the contractors... windows - i got from renotalk... alex and got him to come up my place for quotations and measurements... reasonable quotes and the chemistry is there so got him to do it... woodworks - recommended by friends and i went their house to verify the workmanship first electrician - i got from renotalk... got quotes from several other electricians as well... chatted with sebastian and have the confidence in him. so far so good, he has not failed my expectation yet... i have high expectations... wetworks - from friends and met him several times... most important is not pushy... friendly, offered very very good and practical advices... allowed me to choose the tiles i wanted from different shops... quoted me based on the prices of the tiles... unlike some IDs... told u 'up to $2.80psf' but when u choose tiles about $2.30 (for example), did not bother to re-quote... the lower priced tiles u choose, the more the ID earned... as for the lowest quotes... hmm... after looking through the quotations (i still keep for references), the lowest is $65k exclude air-con, bathroom accessories, lightings, rewiring the coordinating part isn't that difficult... besides i have a good contractor who kept me informed on the work progress and suggest from time to time which other contractors to call up to finish their parts on the renovation...
