  4. @yeese, Yeah i was surprise when i saw your floor plan and the measurement more a less the same haha I did quite a lot of stuff...total...i think <35K hehe (i not sure is this consider cheap or exp tho) but definitely cheaper than my ID quoted me (That i drop them off) Workmanship and quality wise is good... yet to see the carpentry which is going to be completed by this weekend hehe @May_dream1 & ayazumi , Long story...my electrician quoted me S$300 for the whole house switches which will be the normal switches. And I opt out and get it myself. All my house single socket will be replace by double point which is only S$45...so i think is ok right?

Nowadays the BTO houses like condo with long walkway to Master Bedroom~ You can have wall lights along the walkway to make it looks longer~ U can hack away service yard and the expose kitchen wall so that u can have a bar table instead? Looking at the kitchen space of 2.3m x 3.6 is kind a hard to put Island.. I was told that Island may need at least 4ft x 6ft

  16. omg...he lay the real fiber optic cable...so sad most probably i going to burn my money .... and for paying $220 excluding GST is going to be a rip off too... I totally have no idea why the previous owner did not take up the free installation. Is FREE by the way... I think i see somewhere dono which T-blog some electrician did the fiber installation too....hmm.... Make me think of spending extra $220 for nothing. Can use that money to buy u guys "Sakea Sushi" better~
  17. Yup OpenNet CSO told me about this also She mentioned the operators is "Hungry" for us~ But i called up M1 they say "Nop, sorry we charge S$220 for installation regardless only termination point or lay new cable".... I think might be Starhub Trooper that do the job... By looking at their chart... M1 Fiber: Cheapest 25Mbps only S$39 Starhub Fiber: Cheapest 50Mbps $59 (If im not mistaken) got to waste money for asking my electrician installing them...sob sob...

  19. OMG guys and i really need some feedback on this my electrician lay Fibre Optic cable for the house but without doing the termination point form the Hub. (He got no idea how to do it) And i tried to call up OpenNet and M1 and the charges is standard S$220 for it (which includes fiber) Do you have any idea how can I get it done without paying huge fees for it?
