  1. @pinkwhale, PMed. ----------------------- Nothing much has been done. But choose some tiles for kitchen/ MRB and Common toilet Next might spend a trip to JB see got nice lighting kang tau anot Went to geylang on Sun.. the lights kind of exp..(May be standard price for Spore) Normal downlight = $28 LED downlights = $88 other downlights need to based on the case. Range from 28~58 (LED is the most exp) Wall light also range from 80~200 haha reno budget kept going up n up scary~
  2. haha yeah...the tiles is nice to see but hard to maintain hehe Do notice your glass fixed panel do not come with swing door? I'm thinking should i get a swing door as my MBR toilet is extremely cramp
  3. your toilet so big~ omg so envy! hehe So Aron is good yeah... He's in my list too but i notice there's a surcharge for using credit card payment?
  4. Love your bathroom tiles @ W.C area. I was told that is hard to maintain those kind tiles But it do looks good!
  5. Wow love your decoration So sweet and lovely Should get some plants for my house too hehe
  6. Saw Philips easyscenes selling $100+ for one? Actually what is the benefits on having easyscenes bulb? (beaidss the dimmer functions)? Are u having all easyscenes in your house I searching for the philips downlights (forgotten which threat) wanted to snap shot the picture and ask around the price. Can't seems to get the model from Philips Singapore. P/S never know easyscenes is so popular in e market
  7. Ohh yes ..false ceiling with cove lights Wish to see the down lights hehe I'm still thinking where to get those Heard gelling is much cheaper than lighting.com hmm
  8. So where u getting all the lights? Lighting.com.sg? Hehe wish to see your final artwork Have a great looting day
  9. Ohh yes!! Your block has been provided with higher electrical loading. You need not apply for an HDB permit to carry out electrical works/air-con installation works . If you wish to rewire your flat or install additional electrical points for air-con, water heater etc, you need to submit an application (using SP Services Ltd's Form CS/5H) to HDB. Thereafter you may apply to SP Services Ltd to test the extensions.
  10. Awesome jackwolf & ayukie Thanks for the input.. TGIF...and tomorrow is going to be another "looting" day hehe
  11. Ohh yeah talking about aircon... Do we need to call up HDB or whoever to get approval on installing aircon for the unit? regardless system 3 or 4? Or the electrician will do the "overload power" calculation to justify which A/C suit your unit?
  12. haha Ayukie and Simon, Opps yeah i forgot to mentioned Ceiling height will be reduced thus i cant install ceiling fan haha For my living, it comes with L-box with per-installed 20 downlights~ either to keep it or change it. (I guess keep better to save $$ ) @firegoddess , This from http://www.eubiq.com/index.php?id=36
  13. haha ayukie, Pop down your T-blog keapo on your lights So coincidence you also talking about lights hehe any lobang to get cheap n good downlights? hehe <$30?
  14. haha Ayukie, time for lunch leh~ hehe My heart tells me to save $$ haha
  15. haha guys and gals Thanks for your speedy reply! Budget wise...i was quoted quite cheap..$1400 (IMHO) for false ceiling (kitchen+MBR+CR1+CR2) Thus i wish to take advantage of it (since im biting the bullet along the quote) but i do note that electricity tariff is exp by having say, 6 bulbs turn on for MBR will it consume more electricity compare to normal ones? getting downlights may not be that difficult i guess~ but installing them for sure will cost a bomb Because i know if i dont install them now and plan to install it later, i bet everyone will forget about this idea I have this pros and cons table: False-ceiling: Pros: - Nice, sleek and elegant - As ayukie mentioned, Straight lighting concept hehe - no need to wash the light when Chinese New year Cons: - Exp to install - Reduce ceiling height - May not able to install ceiling fan - Require more point to brighten up the area - Electricity? haha guess im too greedy while doing the renovation haha Everything also need haha too poison by T-blog threat~ Every houses nicely done
  16. Last week did another loot by signing purchase order from CityGAS~ Pretty standard model i assume: Gas Clothes Dryer (RD-600CG) + Gas Water Heater Model MA-10FE Next stuff would be considering installing False-ceiling or i should skip that. Are downlights energy savings? Because once u switch on most probably you will on all/half the lights (i know can be adjusted) Or i should go for conventional lighting~ - Kitchen 4 points - MBR 6 points - CR1 4 points - CR2 4 points ------------------- Total: 18points hmm worth it? ------------------- 1) Downlights are expensive.. Considering heading to JB or getting at Geylang. 2) Have not request for price to install downlights. Was told roughly $48~ 3) I guess bulbs is not included when getting downlights? 4) Have no confirm how long of LED strips do i require...
