I think all suppliers are the same...see your luck too. I used to buy all my stuff from ADAMAS 8 years ago - All lasted until I did my reno last month. The new stuff I bought from Hoe Kee Genting Lane... (only reason i bought from Hoe Kee is they have a big showroom in Genting Lane. Adamas show room at near IMM is not that much stuff. Now I got few problems with the stuff. Please stay away from their house brand. the quality is not good. I bought the WC, i think the design is not balance, i keep trying to get the plumber to make sure the WC is straight, everyplace i measure it is straight, but i still see is not when standing in front of the WC. I guess is manufacturing problem. I bought the better quality cover for the WC also ends up not that balance with the WC...bloody. I bought the mirror, at the top of the mirror have rusts... i guess the mirror have been in stock for ages, my wife called them and they say all stocks are new, maybe my expectation is too high!!!...bloody, I will take it to the shop soonest and let them see... I bought the blanco sink for kitchen, i can see the bottom look cracked....since its undermount, i dont think i will want to change it, i just use some silicon to cover the slight crack. I should have just gone back to adamas.... if you have time to look around, you can get the models and call adamas see they have it or not. Look for May at Jalan Besar branch. Nice lady as last time hahaha Now i am crossing my fingers that the kitchen and bathroom accessories can last longer.

touch wood, i have been getting good result from gain city. paidotribe - you mentioned house - landed property or HDB? I understand from my contractor - Gaincity is good at HDB installation. Landed Property - not so famous.

Got my bed from Unispring on Saturday.... as good as the 1st one. 3 guys came to just deliver the Q size stroager bed frame, Maxi full latex mattress ans 1 single spring mattress. They fixed up the frame damm fast....another good job to them. Called me on Friday evening to confirm time on Saturday, arrived on TIME !! and the delivery men all good service.... They still got time to look around my renovation hehehehehe

what about small wine fridge? I actually plan to buy a small one for the store room. that's why i install a power point in the store room

I did 16ft @ $2080 before GST. I did not realise got Zodiaq. Is it good?. My corian is white with white dots...like marble. Quite nice. My installation is so fast since they do not need to grind..... lucky... just 2 piece - 1 at sink/cook area and other one at cabinet area.

I just installed a corion hard top...... but its not that hard too..... hahaha you still cannot have hot pots on the top and to be careful of hard stain like coffee....... i am not sure if the pure stone type will be better or not..... but anyhow its much better than the normal wood top... Mine after 8 years, i have a small plant grown on the wood top..... hahaha most of my sink area all rotted.... the remover saw my top also shake heads hahahahaha

I have 1 bi-fold and sliding door just installed. I find bi-fold a bit flimsy (if its hanging type). it all depends your area etc. i like sliding door but also got the cons ie, if you have a very wet area or dirts etc, it may get stuck on roller or rusted. Personally I like sliding more, looks more sturdy. I think i pat about 350 plus minus.

I bought my 1st bed frame from unispring about 8 yrs ago. the frame still damm solid. 2 weeks ago i bought from them again. this time the matress (full latex) maxcool or something and the storage bedframe. i also bought 1 single mattress maxicool too. deliver next saturday. i hope this time round also good. I bought from the fat boss....... hahaha he provides very good service..... talk also damm good hahaha so need to be careful... I am quite impressed of his bedframe. A look very solid.

I am going to do some reno on my existing 4Room HDB flat next week. I am trying to work out best place to place electric outlet like power points. - For Kitchen - if I have built in microware and toaster cabinet, best to have outlet inside the back of the cabinet? 1 point for each equipment? or position it outside the cabinet so that can switch off easily? - For study/work table. Place the outlet under the table or above the table for PCs, CD player chargers etc? - for those wall fan, add new points nearer to the fan? I need some input to place the powerpoints etc.

I used to have a fisher and paykel dishwasher few years back. If you dont have a maid and lazy to wash all dishes, the dish washer is ok. it may eat into your utillity bill as the wash maybe longer but i quite like the washer as you get very clean dishes. Last time i just leave the dish inside the washer and use it until finish and reload again....hahahaha. I like it clean the wine glass.... spotty clean. you may need to spend a bit on the washer detergent etc...to get some shiny effect on your glasses.
