Study -
Finally, we had moved in to our new place a week + ago. just before the lunar 7th month. Here are some of the before and after photos which I had taken (before furniture are moved in. currently still trying to finish tidying up and getting more accessories from taobao).

Didn't have an issue previously because she just rolled out of bed. Haa. We don't use any safe. Don't have much valuable jewelries anyway

After a holiday break from reno, I shall skip all the progress photos and go straight into the almost completed home. The completed living room feature wall. Our storeroom door seamlessly disappears along the wall. Had a lengthy talk with the carpenter to do the L-shape slot at the top of the box up for glass installation so that There is no visible u-channel on top. Initially he doesn't want to do it as it is more difficult and takes a longer time to ensure vertical alignment. End result, it is perfect and seamless! nice! If there is a will, there's a way. Completed Kitchen and installed kompacplus top. Our cosy corner with lights from taobao. It is soooo much cheaper to get from taobao than in SG. All comes from China too but marked up high in SG. Our super baby 26" fan from taobao too for the master bedroom dresser area. Can't find this small fan in SG. Wife is loving it! And the gate to our home. I forgotten to tell them to install the locking eye lower. Waiting for more of our taobao stuffs to arrive, including the unit numbers

There won't be space for 2 side tables but we created a niche in the wardrobe wall for putting stuffs, and we are having bedhead so there's also some space to put stuffs. Our previous house doesn't have much space at the sides and we usually crawl out of bed. We provided powerpoints in the wardrobe area in-case we need to put any fan or dehumidifier. Again, our previous home "walk-in" wardrobe doesn't have any fan.

Hi! We installed the Ugate slim profile grilles. mostly for practical reason because it can be used to hang clothes for drying as that window is facing morning sun! The gilles on 3 tracks so therefore when it is fully opened it will sit at the opened window pane position leaving the centre area clear.

went to check out the progress this afternoon. The perfect timing to look see look see without stressing the workers. I think I might had stressed them up on my daily visit. Love our island with switches for use of appliances such as kitchen mixer and blender. Study area taking shape Wife's dressing table installed! and the most important space in the bedroom, the walk-in wardrobe. missing the mirror.

Day 31- our heat pump heater installed

Day 30- still many carpentry work going on Kitchen island in placed yup... there will be grilles installed to the window And yes.. they shifted the track light

Day 28- sometimes people may wonder why I go to site everyday. Might be because I am too "niao". Paritions are up for our study area and play area storage! Why is the track light installed at wrong position! Didn't follow the drawings I sent them. Wardrobe track also did not take the centre-line of the entrance. ... and why don't they run the trunking mostly hidden in the partition then come out? that will reduce the unslightly exposed trunking.

Day 18 Swing Slide window from Super Window installation in progress. Took longer today to wait for the cement to dry due to wet weather today.

Day 17 More tiling done. Toilet tiles done up for the build up wall to hide the water pipe at shower area plus the niches for shampoo. Tiling for corridor is also in progress.

Over the weekend, we bought another 4 more KDK fans. Paid GST S$15.15 at custom after deducting S$600 tax relief. Still very much cheaper than buying from SG stores.

Day 16. Lots of things happening Windows are here! Opt for clear glass for a brighter view. The toilet piping also in progress while installation of toilet windows are going on. Lights and tracks are also here. The longest is 3m long. I had to carry it up 6 floors. I feel so bad for the uncle who carried a 3.2m curtain track up 25 floors for our previous home.

Just tested the camera. the bell is loud and clear. The connection is quite easy with a few steps to setting it up. Video quality is pretty decent and if it is too dark, it seems to switch to infrared which is clearer. voice wise, not the best as it tends to be laggy, probably due to wifi connectivity. Day 14 Aircon piping completed yesterday evening. Did a good job to flush the box to the beam so that it will look seamless. The kitchen sink was casted to the concrete top today. Great because there is no need to worry about having any rotting plywood top caused by leakage. The drywall for the master bedroom walk-in wardrobe was also up. And finally the toilet floor tiles are in progress. With the U-channel embedded in the floor.
