Hi, no one replied but I saw that 600+ peeked So decided to post my review of the products cos I did buy them in the end... Both work really well.....washer better than dryer. Why I like the washer 1. The allergy steam care function is great and turned my soft toy from grey back to its original white! Also fluffed up and removed spots from my feather pillows which I thought I hadda throw away as it still came back dirty after going to professional cleaners!!! Had cut my professional cleaning costs and hassle of going down! Yipee!!! 2. Steam refresh function also works well as I dumped in some T shirts which didnt dry well and smelled musty...and after 20min, they came out smelling fine! 3. Can be very gentle on clothes and my Tshirt/polo T collars are not ruined after many washes. 4. Can remove tough stains during the 60min intensive wash 5. I like the quick 30min wash for lightly dirtied clothes. Feedback on Dryer Hmm, nothing great to me....functions no better than my old cheaper dryer so cant comment much... PM me if you would like more info Always happy to help! Oh yes, I got them from Harvey Norman Parkway from a great salesman called Ashok. Very patient and knowledgeable. Cheaper than BD too. I also bought a Samsung fridge from him and since it was the last piece, he knocked off 30% and gave me a free navibot to do my sweeping...Sweet! Cheers Serapheve

Hi Lemontee, I bought the Bertazzoni which is from the same manufacturer as La Germania....It works great! Been using it these past few months and my cakes come out fantastic! Very even and nicely browned. It's the same brand that Bill Gates uses....or is it Steve Jobs (haha, always mix these 2 tekkies up!). I bought the stand alone 90cm range with burners on top but I got it split ovens below ie one bigger one smaller so that I use the smaller one when its just family but the bigger one when I entertain/roast big birds. Just returned from the US so my first choice was a wolf or viking but those are just crazily expensive in Sg... Anyway, love my Berta and it really helps me save electricity when I use the smaller oven. Not too sure if its the same for La Germania but in terms of appearance, you can choose between about 6 different colors and have it done by the same factory which paints Ferraris. I got it customized to fit the deco of my kitchen! Sweet! Only problem is that it took 2-3 months for it to be shipped from Italy to Sg...groan. As for Bosch...I only have Bosch microwave but must say that since it works fantastic, Im guessing the oven would be a quality product too? Not sure if you have already purchased your oven but if you haven't, my bet would be on either La Germania or Bosch. PM me if you wish more details. Happy Shopping...and Baking!!! Cheers, Serapheve

Eh, check out my profile and see my other posts. You can see that I comment on a range of stuff since Jul 2011, and give some sharp comments on lousy service in other types of companies eg lighting. Self advertisers not so free to comment elsewhere lah. I really like Christina's products/service and would like to recommend it to others too. I guess with so many fake reviews out there, it's quite easy to be cynical when someone sees a clearly stated good one... My hubby and I spent a really long time looking for nice classic designed fittings, and even renotalk didnt quite help cos most were about mainstream brands or else had mainly modern designs (our house is classic contemporary so it wont have fit our decor) So just wanted to save others some time if they are also interested in good, quality fittings. Dont be too cynical yah. Regarding price, its cheaper than Hangrohe or Grohe...As mentioned, we went around looking and found it to be same heft (ie solidness) as Hangrohe/Grohe but cheaper. We dont really care about brand as long as it looked and felt nice...so we took a risk and bought it though brand not known to us and are really glad when it worked well to! Im guessing it's cheaper cos it's less branded? We took the same "risk" for our oven too and bought a relatively unknown Bertazzoni oven instead of the more renowned Miele and are also now **** happy.... Now pls dont say that I work for the Italian embassy, am Italian, Italy-holic or something cos I again chose an Italian brand over German. I have German brands too. Cheers, Serapheve

Hi there, Totally recommend Sansei.....great service and good prices for quality products....I was initially considering Hangrohe or Grohe but came across another brand called Christina that's sold by Sansei. Looks like a dream, works like a dream and even more affordable than the other 2. And it's Italian made, not Thai or Chinese. Ive been using it the past 2 months and so far so good...no complaints at all...The rain shower is fantastic and has really spoilt me when I travel cos the hotel ones can hardly beat the one at home ;P Only setback is that it takes about 2-3 months to arrive from Italy to Sg. Otherwise, in terms of looks and price and functionability, it's excellent!! So if you can wait, I'll recommend Christina. They have a wide range of both modern and classic designs. The salesman Hilmi at Sansei was also great...helped me out a lot and was extremely patient with my tons of questions. Good aftersales service too when I needed the mixer holes in my sink recut. Totally dont regret getting from Sansei! Happy Shopping!! Cheers, Serapheve

Brilliant source is brilliant!!! They help to order lighting from the US that I couldnt get in Sg. Rates are very affordable and they fly the lights to Sg within 3 weeks. Other places told me to wait 3 months??!!? Quah himself helps with installation! He's really super patient and nice. There was a couple who wanted to go back to the shop after dinner....Quah said that he'll wait till 10pm for them! Wow! That's good service. Sure hope they went back to him though. I emailed him the items I wanted around midnight and he gave me a quote the VERY next morning (within 12 hours)....I went down to the shop to make a deposit and he said that he'll check with his US agent whether all 6 items I wanted were available. He called the US and replied to me within 2 hours, though it was 10pm by then! Man, should have gotten ALL my lighting from them!! Very very satisfied with their service. Also able to convert my lights that I bought in the US so that I can still use them in Sg. Went to a few lighting shops and the service here is really the best. Felt he's honest and won't rip me off. That to me is IMPORTANT and the deal clincher. Summary of the shops I went to Extreme lighting: Very ah beng. Not very forthcoming and insisted that ALL LEDS are only from China. Hellooooo, he was trying to smoke my hubby who works with LEDs, and other shops offered us better Japanese brand lightings....Rates not that much cheaper than others too. Guess it would be cheaper as stuff are from China. Lights and Lights: Superb service from a young chap called Mountain. Able to bargain down 10-20%. Guy who delivered the lights made sure to check out our light sockets to ensure the lights we bought would fit. Boss here also seems nice and not the try to pian4 lang3 type. Bought Japanese made LEDs compared to Chinese made LEDs from Lights and Lights instead of Extreme lighting. Paid a small premium but I would rather have better quality LED than China LEDs. Lumiere: Got kitchen lights from them. Good service from Steven Chew. Nice helpful dude. Seems honest. Can bargain down about 15-20%. Sembawang Lighting: Parking was ****! Otherwise the range was ok ok only. Didnt buy anything from them. Lighting Centre: Decided on Schonbek chandeliers. Need to bargain though. Bright House: LOUSY service!!! Went down, checked out some lights but had some questions. Sales person said will call back with quote but never did...wait and wait for nothing. Prices also VERY high....Brilliant source charged us HALF of what Bright House quoted us!!! WILL NEVER GO THERE! Mom unknowingly bought from them and paid 1.5x the price for ceiling fans...$400+ when elsewhere only $300!. SUX Hey guys, hope this helps! Cheers, Serapheve

Hi there, I was deciding between Sealy or Simmons too. Spent half a day shuttling between Simmons and Sealy. Sealy has joined coils so it's more motion sensitive but the joint coils give it SUPERB cradling effect. Felt like sleeping on a cloud (or how I imagine it would feel like ) Simmons has individual coils so less cradling effect but SUPERB in terms of less disturbance. My husband couldnt feel it when I was doing situps and flipping from back to tummy on my side of the bed. Also, mattress firmness affects the amount of disturbance. If it's firm, it seems like there's more disturbance. So need to compare firm vs firm and soft vs soft (not firm vs soft) when comparing across brands. It depends on what's more important to you. As I toss around when I sleep and wake my hubby up, we chose the Simmons. Sealy really couldnt compare to the Simmons in terms of being less motion sensitive. We tried to chose the best of both worlds (plushness + less disturbance) with a pillow top Simmons. The Simmons world series was also more value for money 5-6K as compared to the Sealy we were looking at 9-10K. There's also the back care series for 2-3k which gave very good support for backs. However it wasnt as plush and didnt come as pillowtop so we gave it a miss. Though we paid the down payment for the world series, we're also waiting for the Simmons black series to come out....heard that's EVEN better than the world series... Hopefully there'll be a promotional price when it comes out, else it's gonna cost a pretty penny at 10K upwards. Hope this helps! At the end of the day, think better to really sleep on it (haha pardon the corny pun) as mattresses can last 10 years....it's a worthwhile investment given that we sleep a third to a quarter of our lives on it Oh yes, the furniture mall has both Simmons and Sealy so might want to try them out there...easier to remember how each mattress felt All the best! Happy bouncing! Cheers, Serapheve

Hi there, Does anyone use the Wolf Dual Fuel Range? Looks snazzy and reviews on it internationally are good. Any feedback would be appreciated! Cheers, Eva

Hi everyone! Totally new to Renotalk Decided to dedicate my first post to ovens. I used to bake and grill a lot and am used to a big oven. Went to Audiohouse to check out household goods but found all the Brandt ovens too small. Was told that most of the ovens in Sg are 50+litres?? Im used to ovens that could fit turkeys comfortably... I saw some bigger ones by Ariston but am turned off by reviews of their poor aftersales. Miele, though apparently very popular in Singapore, have generally poor reviews internationally so that's out too. Gonna be living in a HDB flat so even if it's a big oven, it must fit HDB electrical constraints. Budget of 3k but hopefully it'll last longer than 4-5 years (I plan to use it regularly) and after sales service is impt... If there's no built in oven big enough, then I guess I'll make do with a standalone oven. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Cheers, Serapheve
