I do agree with zirk on what he has mentioned, to add on a little, To say whether a masters or a degree for the matter of fact is a rip off or a pay off really depends on how ppl view the value of an education. In my job, I don't need a degree but i went to get one anyway. 1) to get more insights and to broaden my knowledge 2) to open doors. I'm also thinking of taking up a Masters from SMU in the next 2 years. I'm looking at the Msc in Wealth Management / Msc in Applied Finance Having said all that, its near impossible to quantify something as intangible as an education.
