Honestly I didn't want to comment on this ongoing issue on the other hand, let's just give enci the benefit of the doubt. enci, you can write a cheque and deposit it into the storeberry's account. If you know how to write a cheque, i would assume that deposting a cheque into someone's account would be fair knowledge. At the same time once that is done, you can just send storeberry an sms and everything will be cleared up. Either yourself or storeberry can post here to close the matter and all of us can move on. I don't believe that anyone would bother to cheat $4 in exchange for bad rep. Everybody, while this is being settled, let's not broach the subject matter and return to this thread. Cheers!

I beg to digress on the issue discussed. The average wage in Sillypore for a fresh grad is around 2.7 to 3.5 in today's market. Whereas in Malaysia, its still around 2k Ringgit. Transport is an issue and many will drive. Dinner for 2 in a restaurant will still cost around 40 to 50 Ringgit on the average. Same as Singapore right? but the average wage is lower, inflation is higher in the country. Standary of living alot lower than Singapore Cost of living higher if we take in the local wages on local expenses.

Actually quite a few of my friends are already making that range.. ex-colleauges since days gone by. Which is why i'm tempted. I'm getting this "deal" due to my overseas headhunter. Basically they just want me to help grow the business. Then again, they pay well in the Finance Sector. Its a big firm, not so straightforward to get into. Almost never advertise normally if they require ppl. I do agree with you that there's never a free lunch. Probably I need to bring in NFI for the company in the tune of at least a couple of million. lol.

Just for discussion: IF you have just left a job and joined a new company for 3 weeks. (Getting a 30% increment along the way) And now ANOTHER company comes along and offers you to double your new salary..(excluding bonuses) For discussion, let's say that Industry is still pretty similar, nature of work different.. but still both are sales type of job for example... What would you do? - Assume that new company doesn't know you just left the old job.
