Mace, I tink yr idea is a good one leh.....Rmb I told u before I going to construct a partition wall on my LR? My contractor came up last Sat and the moment they start to drill, my left side neighbour start to keep their laundry.... Bt my right side one still bo chap....somemore they are hanging their children's clothes, I am wondering they are not worried abt their children's health meh since so much dust from my side.

I am sure everyone will want such idealistic scenario, but really cannot hv best of both worlds.... We just work for the sake of VITAMIN M! My HB is those type dun wanna hv bad feelings with neighbours, if I talk to neighbours like tat, he sure not happy! So I also close both eyes liao, actually no eyes to c la... Ya, I got TWO side by side MY UNIT...one on my LEFT and 1 on my RIGHT! I really wanna faint! And I tel u hor, both the units on my left and right got maids one hor...mabbe they scared their maids fall off their units while bringing the heavy bamboos out...tis is my guess la... Cos on my floor, oni 2 of them got maids, the rest dun hv and dun hang laundry outside except 2 OF THEM. And I am so LUCKY to be caught in between!

If u got money...then in the 1st place, u should not post the question here...cos money to u is no issue! !!

Perhaps can hv a discussion with the buyer...if yr delay time is not too long, then perhaps can come to a compromise... If too long, mabbe they cannot accept cos they also need a place to stay, and yr delay may cause their delay too....its all connected...

Hi Mace, I have asked my contractor to put up the partition wall, but not completed, left skirtings and paintings. Now I cannot c the windows once I enter the house which I am happy . Bt the plm is the distance between main door to the partition wall (abt 7 feet) is quite dark cos the sunlight from the other side of the windows cannot shine in. Get wat I mean? Unless I open the main door... Is there anyting "auspicious" or "good" which I can put there to counter the "dark area"? Btw if I c the FS ruler, 7 feet is good rite? TIA for your help....OR do u need any floor plan to further advice?

Hey all, Feel curious suddenly....how long hv u all been in your current job? Me in my current job for more than 3 1/2 years....feeling quite bored and sianz in current job scope liao...dunno y will hv tis feeling in every job once it hits 3 years....mabbe very familiar in job scope liao and kinda feel sianz cos no challenges and new things to learn...Gotta feeling of coming to work and knock off every day...work for the sake of working... I dunno whether I am considered a job hopper....1st job - 1 1/2 years, 2nd job - 4 years and tis is my 3rd job....attempting to lok for another job after CNY....bt dunno will adapt to the new environment or get back the same pay or not.... If I were u, I will observe another 1 month or so and write to Town Council to complain. I ever write to Town Council to complain abt my unit upstairs in my previous house pouring curry out of their kitchen window and dirty my laundry! And another time to complain abt wet mops from 3 units up. For the curry case, I did go up and confront them and they still can deny though I still can smell curry from their doorstep and I tell straight at their face tat I wil lodge a complaint! I tink TC tok action and since then no issue. For my case, I tink it is v obvious whom complain right? For your case, still ok. Dun tink TC wil go tel yr neighbour "Yr next door neighbour, unit no. # **-*** complain abt u" right? Tat is 2 unprofessional! I tink they need a license for doing biz at home right? including "salon" biz at home.. Else, if they got complained, sure kena! Air....no leh...my neighbours whom hang their laundry outside are Chinese leh.... Instead the Malay and Indian family over the other side did not hang anything outside, their corridor super clean one wor! Me suay la.... Stall need rental, house dun nd....And some rental fee are really sky high.... Bt still, if they wanna do biz at home, they should not affect their neighbours and environment...
