Hi Folks, My friend whom studied Fengshui recently commented that my house is of "Fire". So dun put any plants at home cos it will cause my temper to be worse and quarrel with my hubby more often. It is true that recently hubby and I quarrel a lot. But our FSM ask us to put a plant at our "Cai Wei" (wealth spot). And I also put a no. of plants around the house.... My FSM did not ask me to remove the plants leh.... And some things that my friend says is quite opposite from my FSM.... I am in a dilemma as it is a spot on from tis friend that our quarrels are very often nowadays... Just wanna ask the experts : - How do we see whether our house is of "fire, metal, water or wood"? - Is it true that we cannot put plants at home if our house is of "fire. - Then if I remove the plant from the "Cai Wei", then tat means I remove the wealth la? One is a FSM, the other one is a beginner but quite accurate in our quarrel thing...So i also blur liao.... Please help to advise. Thanks.!

U can try King's Coptorne....There is a chinese restaurant inside...I attended once. Food and ambience is not bad. Although is a restuarant, it has the atmosephere of a hotel....

But my FSM says that he confirms that my unit is "clean" wor... But so far stayed here for 2 months plus liao, so far so good la... Hubby's career seems to go very well.... But mabbe not for me la cos mabbe my zodiac tis year not good ba... Oops, side tracked liao...

For my case, I open house and dongtu on the same day. Thus do everything on the same day.... except tat the dongtu time must be at 11am.... But I nvr sprinkle salt and rice grains leh...my FSM says tat is only applicable to new units! Funni!

From my experiences as wedding coordinators for my close friends. Weekdays weddings will affect the attendance....unless u invite very close friends and relatives... else doubt friends will attend due to work and family commitments.... Do give it a thought!

Dear All, Thanks for your advice...... I am in the verge of breaking down. Everyday sulking whenever I get home and worse when my menses come.... My mum understands our problems and stop urging us to have babies anymore cos she say the process of IVF is very torture cos she work in NUH. I am not ready as in I am not ready to undergo IVF......though many docs say my chances are very high....Bt the thoughts of the cost, the injections and have to stay in bed for 2 to 4 weeks puts me off... I dun dare to tel much ppl abt our plms except my mum and a close friend of mine. I dun even wanna to go out with our common friends cos all of them are either just pregnant or had children liao... The only thing I can do is to write in this forum and pour out my woes... I really feel much comfortable....really thanks to you all... Ahnah...I also PM u liao......hope u hv good news soon too! I dun have much hope in me conceiving...mabbe keeping a dog could keep me occupied and not to anyhow tink....

We too tried to TTC for 4 years liao...Seems like no luck... Hubby got problems - low & poor sperm count. We went to countless doctors.... We went to SGH, Thomson Medical, Mount E, Gleneagles and TCM over these few years. It really cost us a bomb already....Parents pressurising us and colleagues and friends also keep asking... I am sort of fed up and isolate myself from those just pregnant or with children cos I feel sad whenever we go out. I dunno wat topics to talk cos we dun hv a common topic. Me and hubby quarrel over this issue many many times and I am also sick of 2 person's life already after 7 years of marriage.. Worst thing is tat my mum in law keep asking me take tis and tat tonics and keep on saying "my friend's daughter in law also conceive after drinking". and she nvr give m y hubby eat/drink anything! Wat does tat implies? The plm lies in me? And best part is when my hubby told her tat the plm lies in him, u noe wat she say? "Ai ya, dun believe those doctors la, they dunno how to check one!". Haa....I was like wanting to bang the wall and tis affects our relationship too.... Tat is 1 time, we went out with my hubby's friend, and tat friend's wife just found out tat they are pregnant. And u noe wat he say to us and my friends who too were without children? "My wife approaching 30 leh, if dun get pregnant, then wait till when? Later than 30, then yr baby will hv more problems and down syndrome leh". Wah piangz.....I noe he is capable to hv a baby, bt he dun need to say such hurtful words lor especially he noe my hubby's condition. Since them, I refrain from going out with him liao cos I dun wan to listen to all these nonsense and make myself sad! Doc ever suggest us to go for IVF. Bt I am not ready yet, be it financially or physically! Tink I am breaking down soon.......

Well...it is bcos the parking is free. Hope the condition will improves once the parking fee system effects! Do you noe some of the reno firms in IMM will discontinue their contract soon tis year? If I am not wrong, is in Sep. U betta take note of tis too cos their other showroom maybe further or mabbe worst, no more showroom????

Mine cannot be seen from the corridor...mabbe is due to the layout of the house. My FSM say if I were to put it on the other side, then will affect my hubby's career... Pengz...actually I would prefer to put there cos it is evenly spread out and more space for my dinning area....but now cannot liao lo....

Dun tink reskin is worth it. Perhaps u can ask around for more quotes first. I had the same idea as u few months back abt changing the laminates for the carpentary but in the end, I hack everything and redo cos it is more worth it....

Hmm....I would prefer laminate to wallpaper as laminates are most lasting. Wallpapers will peel off as time goes by. U can choose nice laminates too...not necessary to be woody colours....mabbe lighter shades.....? !!

I ever heard 2 FSM mention tat we should not see the shoe cabinet once we open the main door from the corridor. Shoe cabinet should be placed in a postion whereby u cannot see it from the corridor. Cos shoes are not "heng" things..... And the height of the shoe cabinet should not be taller than u. I did not ask my FSM why, just follow suit. Tats y the placing of my furniture is a bit odd as the shoe cabinet is just beside my dinning table...Bo pian!

Drink lotsa of water during daytime....try to minimise at nite time... Bo Pian... I normally drink lotsa of them in the morning and afternoon.

Tink it is not worth it...cos I asked a lot of contractors/IDs before.... Normally they will wan u to change the whole door....and the price is only 30% difference from changing the whole carpentary..... I decided to hack everything after getting the quotes. Perhaps u can ask around to hv a betta idea...

Hi White Affair...I go down to my new house practically everyday after work during the reno works. I will cal him on the spot after I consolidate all the "errors" or things not to my liking. I tort he will give me a bo chap attitude....bt to my surprise, he will rectify it within 1 or 2 days and always give me a positive tone. I like him for his responsibility and sometimes when my tone is not very good, he will still be very patient and delivers wat he promised! He has a positive attitude. We click well. Perhaps u can meet up with him first and c his quote and pass him a verdict.... Good Luck, PM u the contacts liao...

Perhaps u can get yr contractor/ID to construct a false wall using MDF board. It is very cheap only, mine costs around $680. U can view from my blog.....

I ever heard my FS master say tat it is not nice to see what is on your dining table, tat is yr dining area from corridor. Cos ppl will tends to share yr luck. Its betta to hv yr dining table placed in such a way tat passer bys cannot see... I dunno how true it is. But if there is really no choice, then perhaps a partition or something else can helps!

Hey Ladies, Just to add on something useful..... Dun use cold water to wash yr hair when u r hving menses...It will worsen yr dark circles condition. Use hot water (of course the tempertaure u must be able to tahan). This will help. And dun drink any water after 8pm. Drink sips of it if u really thirsty. The most important thing is to catch enough and quality sleep. Do some eye mask occasionally. Body Shop has them. Can give a try!

Hey....I just had my flat done up by Edmund from SBC interior. U can view my blog under my signature. My verdict for him - Responsible, honest and on time.
