Hi Lifestyle...I dunno wat happen to her HB....and we really hope we noe so tat we can solve my fren's plm... And her HB is definitely not in financial stress...in fact, he is the richest amongst all...I tink he is too rich and scared my fren will wanna cheat his money... They have went many holidays already and in fact more than us....bt still it doesn't work... I dunno on the movie part bt I believes my fren has done her part as a wife....I m not trying to say my fren is fault-less...bt from wat I c, the guy got the more plm. I tink counselling on my fren will work, bt not on the guy, he will not go cos he is v egoistic... It really depends on my fren herself...mabbe she choose to lead tis kinda life...like I say earlier on, I can oni wish her good luck! Hi LadyLuck, I was a bride years ago.....So hope my experience can be of help to you. Tat time I also hv 2 options on my WG, tat is to make- to- measure or off the rack. I chose off the rack cos I need to try it on myself and noe which cutting fits best for me. Tat time, the bridal shop staff told me tat if I chose make-to-measure, I cannot change to other gowns if the end result is not wat I wanted.... I didn't wanna take the risk...so I just tok off the rack though I also dun like the idea of other brides wore it before... Bt tat time my BS is kind enuff to let me try those new arrival, as in no other brides hv worn before as proclaim by them...I just close one eye and believes them la....anyway every gown loks new to me....hahahaha.... I also advises my every fren to choose off the rack when I am their wedding coordinator...and they always come back to me and say they are happi with off the rack. It depends v much on yrself...if u hv the design, material in mind, perhaps u can work v closely wif the designer so tat the end result is something u like... Good luck!

In this case, dun really deserve my sympathy with her dismissal... She herself can go party during her pregnancy....BEST! Irresponsible in both her work and personal life! Hope she will grow up when her baby arrives...

TPY, just chance upon this thread.....just let u noe I did went for bathroom accessories and hood and hob hunting last year too at Hoe Kee Bras Basah.....I end up buying nothing from them and step out of the shop cos no one really entertains me and when I ask questions on a instant heater, a China worker attends to me bt the information he provides me is totally different from the other shops that I went. This makes me lose trust and I did not buy anything from them of cos.... In the end, I patronises other shops and the Hoe Kee outlet at IMM....The service is great! I tink if I were u, I will also lodge a complaint against them and write to STOMP! This is really too much! Lets c how they sustain their biz from tis kinda poor service!

Wah...Applefreak, u sure fierce sia.... True hor....signz....bt if there are queue signs in designated places, I will ask the person whom cut queue to follow the queue... Bt I noticed in most female toilets, though there are no signs, most of us will just queue....oni a handful will cut queue....

I dun tink there is an official thing in Singapore.... Bt in TW, ppl really queue up to go into the train and if someone cuts the queue, then he must be a foreigner...not sure whether its official there.... I tink cutting queue here is very common.

A fren of mine also staying directly opposite the school at Bukit Panjang...I wld say it is rather eerie at nite when I lok at the sch from their living room...Bt after staying this flat, tis fren of mine got pretty good luck leh in career....both husband and wife....

Hi Flo, Sad to c yr entry.... I mean we are talking abt 8 years of marriage and not 8 mths....sometimes Its difficult to let go just like tat... Perhaps can hv a heart to heart talk with him and c how it goes! Perhaps there may be some miscommunication somewhere....Talk it out before making yr decision... Or a counselling session for both of u might helps!
