If I were u...I tink I couldn't be bothered since I have done so many things... I will not let them affect my life whatsoever.....dun cal/visit them and dun associate with them.... Just make yrself contactable in case they need yr help one day... I am sure yr mum will noe who is the nice person one day when she is sick! Trust me! This happens to me too... My mum treats me the worse among 3 of of my silblings....recently she had an op and she now noes who is the more filial child!

Bt yr HB is very nice to u now wor....very different from his before-marriage life.... Tis is too much la....continue drinking after the dinner? I tort should enjoy the 1st nite with the bride? Dun insist on the helper's room, instead tel him tat u intends to give the room for yr parents/in laws lor so tat they can enjoy the facilities too... Wah.....agree lor...sometimes I am so happi tat my HB still restricts me and tat cos I noes he still cares for me....although I may be unhappy outside la... U understand woman har.... Dear Mr Chong, My Master Bedroom and study room face each other while my guest room and kitchen room face each other...So far I have kept all the bedrooms doors closed when not using except the kitchen door. Is this helpful in terms of FS? Please advise. Thank u Very much!

Tat was so sweet of u....If I am yr HB I will be so moved! I rmb there was 1 year when I was bathing, and it just past MN, my HB had my favourite cake placed on the cofy table with lighted candles and when I just step out from the bathroom, he starts singing the birthday song...I was so touched.....

Hmmm...after reading all yr advices and woes....I suddenly recall back my 7 years of marriage... It is not smooth sailing...we experienced ups and downs...And I am also the TS for some of the marriage topics! And indeed it is not easy! When we just get married, my HB do not contribute to all the housework although we stay only in a small 3 room flat! And he dun bother even to wash a spoon after eating. He just leave it at the sink and expect me to wash for him! Of course there were arguments and lotsa of them lor...And he is v pampered. If I were to leave for work earlier than him, he expects me to set the HP alarm for him, sms him on my way to work to ask him to rmb to close all windows and bring the bf tat I have prepared for him! Seems like I am a nanny rite? Bt wel, I have learnt to accept it la.....I must say he change in some ways, but dun expect 100%. Before we gt married, I already noe he is a mummy's boy. And I am determined to transform him to another person aft our marriage. And I am proud to say he do change....he do help out in the chores...after 5 years of marriage! Haa.....if I cannot endure during the 5 years, I wld say our marriage is gone liao... Now we hv shifted to a bigger house, and he do help out every sat on the household work. I am happi and contented even he dun do a good job! A married couple is abt compromise and endurance. If u can get thru this tiding period, I am sure the best will come. Guys tend to matured later than ladies....they will realise one day....hmm...I am one good example... Dun give up! As for the coming home late without informing...educate him tat he is a married man liao and shd be responsible enuff to inform u where he go...else he must be contactable when u cal! If problem still persists....let him hv a taste of his own medicine...dun pick up his cals and purposely stay back late...c hw he feels....and if he complains...tel him this is hw u feel each time he treats u tis way!

I used to stay at Holland Flat, 5th Floor facing MPH too....And indeed it can be quite noisy when there are Malay weddings, Chinese funerals and etc....but if u can stand it, then its ok. For me. it is quite difficult for me as I am a light sleeper and I overlook the MPH when I purchase the unit. Tat is y I keep a lokout for MPH for my current unit. Most important u must be comfortable with the unit and the loan repayment. Our advices is only a guide for u and not to influence yr decision.

Sometimes a short trip will improve yr relationship. Trust me, I also had a hard and downtime with my HB sometime bk. If u c my other threads, u can also c hw upset and hw bad our relationship is.... A short trip will definitely helps!

Hi cornetto, understands hw u feel! Basically guys are not sensitive creatures like we girls. They tends to worry bigger pictures rather than nitty gritty things. Perhaps to him, yr worries/sorrows are small things to him whereby we can easily share it with our girlfriends, cry our hearts out and the problem will be solved! Perhaps u can get him to sit down with u, and u explain to him the seriousness of yr plms and hw u need his support and TLC sometimes... Guys will not console u with nice words unlike yr gfs, they will only provide solutions for u. When we are sad enuff, we dun find their solutions useful, instead we felt they are useless....and wat we need is they lend a ear to us oni and keep quiet. Bt sad to say they are not so patient la....same as shopping. My advice is u hv a nice talk with him la and tel him yr needs....after all, u r getting married soon rite? Dun let tis affect yr mood and relationship! I am sure he has his strong points too...tink of it and compensate his weak points. Dun worry and be happi!

Mabbe I super like clean house la....not 100% clean, bt at least the floor tat I step on must be up to my standard lor...I cannot stand stepping on greasy floors lor...

Same sentiments! Will not spend a few hundreds on local hotel treats. Would rather go for a short holiday elsewhere, rather than stay in a hotel in S'pore when we are singaporeans....

I gather she did not clean her fan at all after moving in for 2 years ba... Imagine u sniffing in the dust everyday.....eeeeeee...I super cannot tahan lor....I will do minimum household chores even when i am down with fever...My HB says I am like a bull!

Hmmm....How low is yr low? Super low? Super low floor's resale value is lower compared to those high floors. And if u ask me Clementi area, yes, I will pay for this amount of money if it is high floor.... Why??? Cos Clementi is a matured area, there ia a hawker centre and cofy shops nearby, a big NTUC, swimming pool and near MRT. There are many buses going to town from Clementi too. And there are nearby schools and institutions too, for example, NUS, S'pore Poly, Ngee Poly and other neighbouring pri and sec schs. In west area, Clementi flats are the most expensive. I dun tink I will choose Seng Kang over Clementi.... I nearly purchase a 4 room resale flat (near the swimming pool) for 370k - valued at 360k and is high floor. But too bad the MBR is facing the MRT track and it is very noisy.....else I already bought it! Of cos the final decision still lies in you....

Hmmm....can try some budget hotels... Not necessary be expensive ones.... Or can go chalet? Bt dunno still got slots not cos it is a peak period!
