Thanks MasterChong, the ba kuah is not hang by me but is hang by my FSM, he says the ba kuah will not harm the opp family cos is not exact door to door....hmmm....must seek my HB's permission to take down liao....kinda scary! Hey....snorkelling dun requires knowing how to swim as we are wif life jackets... Bt for diving, u need to noe swimming... Actually there is a food court at Krabi airport, it is at the 2nd floor and the food is not tat expensive. Do keep a lokout..... Yup....my painting is up and I am appreciating it everyday..... Happi Krabi trip and do share yr experiences when u r bk....

Me currently working in MNC and as wat shmj says... u really need to find the right "kao shan" to lean on... And if u dun noe how to "por" then u r condemned...then just accept it and keep quiet... Every mth just wait for payday and year end, wait for bonuses.... And there are tons of politics and can see ppl playing "tai ji" to push off their responsiblities and will only take up the job if the big boss can c and can gain credit... Bt of course their benefits are good la and pay wise is betta. Bt u must noe how to survive in the company lor. And in the MNC, everday is like showtime cos a lot of politics so a lot of "shows" to c lor without paying...there is also real buddies and friends down there...There are oni colleagues or enemies... And in SMEs...u can find real friends there and work is really fun everyday. U lok forward to work there and no much of a politic...Not totally dun hv, but is much much lesser... Bt of course the minus point is u got to work real hard for peanuts and the boss may not necessarily give u bonus at the end of the year. Tat is wat I hate most, cos after a year's hard work, u r not being rewarded accordingly. Tnen wat is the point of working hard?

Master Chong, if my neighbour's door is not directly facing my door, their door is slightly slanted (hope u get wat I mean), then I hang a ba kuah outside my door, issit ok? My purpose of hanging the ba kuah is to counter the bamboos from my neighbours. Their bamboos face directly to my main door, so I use ba kuah to counter it...issit ok?

Ya....my neighnour last time also keep 2 big dogs in their 3 room flat. As long as no one complains and the dogs dun bite or bark anyhow, dun tink there will be any problems ba....

I am under Jurong and I am paying $62 for 5 room.... I still tink standardised conservancy charges for all districts is fairer leh.... I agree!!!!!

I enjoyed my 4 days there.... everyday just go and find packages and go... My first nite there, I went a bit of shopping and ate at a stall near my hotel, it was very cheap. Seafood in Krabi was really cheap and I also asked an artist there to paint a Buddha face for me and can be collected 3 days later. An oil painting bigger than a A3 size costs less than $70! I was like I made a mistake booking the elephant trekking with the hotel - costs 800 baht per pax...if I book it my self, I could bargain for a betta price. Anyway, it was a waste of time to go for the elephant trekking, kinda boring. We also tok a local bus - day 40 baht, nite 50 baht to Krabi town for somemore shopping. Things there are cheaper than Ao Nang beach. Intended to go Phi Phi island on the 3rd day, unfortunately there the tides are very high, therefore cannot go. We change to kayaking - per pax 900 baht. Comes with lunch - quite interesting but tiring for the whole day. After tat went massage at the massage parlour above sunset hotel. The service is great! Traditional Thai massage costs 250 baht and aromatheraphy massage costs 300 baht. Try the seafood at Wang Sai. It was great and cheap. 5 mins walk from La Playa hotel. We managed to go Phi Phi island on the day before our departure. It was very rush, but it was very worth it. The Maya beach is very beautiful. We went snorkelling at Phi Phi island - per pax 1000 baht -comes with a buffet lunch. Overall, enjoyed my stay in Krabi, except that transport is very expensive. From airport to hotel costs 600 baht for 2 pax and 500 baht from hotel to airport. The journey is less than 1/2 hr.... It is a great place for relaxation and for family holidays! Glad to hear tat u r going in Oct, enjoy yr stay and thanks for yr tips before tat!

I am staying at Bukit Batok now...quite far from town and Holland....sob sob... I sold for 210k. If I not wrong Holland 4 room is around 420k for high floor and those less than 10 years. How to buy har? I tink I will be a slave of the house if I really buy! Hey, where did u stay in Holland previously? U hv not answer my qn leh..... I celebrated in Krabi tis year...keke....

I used Kronotex laminating for my cosy area and it is already 8 mths down the road and so far so good.....Even I tried to pull a chair across, I cannot see the scratches by naked eye! Personally, I chose Kronotex over Supreme cos they hv the colour and texture I want.

Nope! Tat is my first matrimony house. I dun wan to shift too....bt tat is a 3 room and low floor..find tat the living room is too small. Dun hv enuff space when my big grp of friends came. 3I leh...and the MBR dun hv a toilet...quite inconvenient when I hv guests at home and walk out of the toilet with wet hair and hv to walk past them, quite unsightly for me! Wanted to get Holland 4 room back, but I cannot afford the price and cash above value! Ok la...bt if u want to go out / celebrate yr birthday overseas can be expensive and crowded leh.... And 1 thing for sure, none of my friends will forget my birthday and usually my hp will start beeping and ringing with birthday wishes starting from 8th Aug MN. And I had a hard time replying to all of them! Ya la...bt I also miss the chance to watch the parade every year cos I will either be out or not in Singapore...Always watch the repeated ones!

In tis case, try to come to an agreement with the owner upstairs...or talk to them seriously and nicely. I can understand the frustration of going back home everyday!
